Spring is in the air which means the Easter Grand Buffet, Boat Race Party, and then Oaks and Derby!! Can you believe that the year is almost 25% gone!!! We’ve had some great events already this year. The Lobster Dinner, St. Patrick’s Strolling Buffet, March Madness, Family Specific Parties, the Lunch and Learn Program, some great Cru Dinners, and remember that Saturday Night is the Prime Rib Special 3 Course Dinner. We will also be making some changes to both the Lunch and Dinner menus by mid-month. Racquets are rocking! Robbie and Drew are keeping the Tennis Courts humming and Nick Isaacs and Tommy Campbell ran a great Paddle Tournament in Mid-March. As most Members know by now, we have hired Kelly-Marie Bohnert as our Pickleball Professional. She comes to us, nationally ranked, highly recommended and SHE WANTS YOU ON THE PICKLEBALL COURTS!! Lee Scott is running a great Squash Program and has taken middle and high school teams to some National Tournaments. With Summer and Pool Season just around the corner, the Fitness classes are very popular, and the Barre Class seems to grow every week. Well, it will soon be time to get the pool gear and cheer on the Typhoons! Membership growth is paramount to our success as a Club, we have been very fortunate this last year in adding 62 families to our roster and the Membership Committee is working on some programs to keep the number climbing. That said, if you have friends and business associates who may be interested in joining the Club, please e-mail or call me with the contact information and I will send them the information.
