Letter from the President

Hello Team Loyalty,

Happy New Year!!! I do not think much will change during the first three months of our new 2021, however I do believe that we will continue to grow even through our typical tax season. I do hope everyone had a great holiday season. I am certainly glad to be done with 2020 and am looking forward to 2021 and getting back to our life and workplace back to some type of new normalcy. I want to add a huge Thank You for everyone pulling through the best we could during 2020. It was a great effort and was leaving like none of us has ever done before.

We had great instore sales numbers with two location Florin Mall and Broadway hitting our annual projected sales goals, but with the Covid-19 virus hitting us in March of 2020, the projections should have been adjusted down a little bit. All locations except one sold more in 2020 than 2019 instore sales numbers and that was West Sacramento but only off by 1.5%. All those sales numbers are terrific numbers. The large drop in our loan balance should have affected our Pawn Service Charges we collected less the 1% less in 2020 compared to 2019. So, despite 2020 and all the problems it caused for all of us I would say we had a pretty darn good year. We did struggle with our eBay and our scrap gold sales, but we have learned in those departments.

I am confident we can all work together to help each other and our Loyalty Pawn family have a strong 2021!

Gratefully

A Letter from the General Manager

Hello Everyone,

We are nearing the end of 2020 and are in high hopes for a great start to 2021! To reflect a little on 2020, we surely had our challenges. However, we came through the year with adding online payments, brokering jewelry and external inventory like we never had before and helping clear aged inventory. We also have had cleaner stores than I have ever seen. Even with a year like 2020, we did have many positive things happen at Loyalty Pawn. Thankfully, we can bring in the new year our commitment and team engagement.

It is time to highlight the top salesmen for the month of December! Dominic T. $65,278.07, Mark Xiong $24168.85 and Tony Mora $22,318.63. Great job gentlemen. The top three salesmen for quarter 4 2020 were Dominic, Josh Bonton and Marcos Barragan. Congratulations, you qualify for the increased bonus incentive for quarter 1 2020!

For the first quarter of 2021, we are focused both on our sales and loan growth. Since September 2020, we have seen gradual increases in physical loans as well as our purchases. We have been steadily adding to our inventory each month. Also, our layaways have grown substantially in the last 5 months and we look forward to these being completed. When we opened up the Luxury store at El Camino, it truly showed our clients added value to the products we take and sell. The merchandising of our inventory has improved incredibly, and this will help gain super fan clients. The best form of advertising is word of mouth or live testimonials from our clients. I believe that the fruit is yet to bare at El Camino. We will be ready for what this year will bring!

To conclude, we continue to entertain new team members. We have had multiple new team members join us these last couple months. We are looking forward to expanding our teams and getting back to normal. We will continue to scout and gradually add new talent to our teams. Keep up the great work, we will succeed together!

Happy New Year,

“Success is not final; failure is not fatal: it is the courage to continue that counts.” – Winston Churchill.

Team Loyalty,

Three, two, one happy New Year! everyone I hope everyone, and their families had a great and safe new year. I know we had a difficult year with obstacles, but we got through them. I welcome 2021 with open arms hoping the best for our stores and our team. Since I've been back at El Camino, I'm very proud of my team. We came together and made 761,000 in a pandemic and a 1-million-dollar loan balance. but watch out 2021. One of the goals that we have here is hitting the Million Dollar mark in sales with Loyalty Luxury being a huge part of it. We are in process of moving things around and organizing for the year that means all hands-on deck. Team El Camino is also taking the time and double-checking loans if they could be maximized. We are ready for tax season as well with new and fresh inventory. I wish everyone a great January and let’s get it!! “On the bright side, thanks to lockdown we never got used to writing 2020 on things, so 2021 should come easier. - Cheers!

Florin Mall

Hello Loyalty Pawn Family,

Well, we made it and wow 2020 was a crazy, weird, and scary year. 2021 here we come, we are excited to see what it brings us. I hope everyone had a safe and fun Christmas and New Year. Florin had set a goal for $1 million in sale, this was a tough goal, but we put our best foot forward and tried to close every client that we were in contact with and we manage to end with $883k in sales. We missed our goal by $115k. I am so proud of the team even though we missed our goal the team did hit record breaking sales month for 2 months straight and was able to sell $150k more than last year and that is a great accomplishment for the team. We will continue to pursue that goal of $1million in sales for 2021. Team Florin will look back in 2020 to see what we did right and investigate mistake that were made and make some adjustment to reach our $1million sales goal. We are still holding a $1.4mil loan balance, we are trying to increase that by maximizing every loan that comes in. Team Florin is re-qualifying building rapport with our clients because WE ARE THE LEADER IN LOCAL LENDING and DEDICATED TO HELP OUT OUR LOCAL COMMUNITIES. Cheers to health, happiness, and prosperity in 2021! Let this new challenge begin. LET’S GO 2021!!! “The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams.” Eleanor Roosevelt

We just need to button up the finish work, fine touches and we will be ready to ROCK. I do know we are going to have our work cut out for us in matching how awesome Loyalty Lux El Camino came out but we are up for the challenge. 2021 is going to be our year! I just want to wish everyone a Happy New Year. Continue to stay safe and let’s make 2021 a year to remember in a GOOD WAY!

first day of the year. It is natural for us to reflect on the past year and also look forward to the new. Goodbye 2020!! Hello 2021!!

• January 1 is New Year’s Day. While you are still recuperating from the prior night’s parties, read about some other new year’s traditions you might not know about and celebrate with some Hoppin’ John for good luck.

• January 5 brings Twelfth Night, an English folk custom that marked the end of Christmas merrymaking, and in ancient Celtic tradition, the end of the 12-day winter solstice celebration. On Twelfth Night, it was customary for the assembled company to toast each other from the wassail bowl.

• January 17 is Benjamin Franklin’s birthday. He was not only a world-renowned statesman, inventor, and scientist, but was also fascinated by agriculture.

• January 18 is Martin Luther King Jr. Day (observed). This holiday is held on the third Monday in January and honors the principles of this civil rights leader and Nobel Prize Winner dedicated to nonviolence.

• January 20 is Inauguration Day which is the day that the next U.S. president is sworn into office.
