¿QUÉ SE COCINA EN LA PRENSA?
Helado de crema de cacahuate y nueces Peanut Butter and Nut Ice Cream
INGREDIENTES: • 11 yemas de huevo •
1 cuarto de crema (heavy cream)

1 taza de azúcar
•
4 cucharadas de crema de cacahuate (mantequilla de maní/peanut butter, en inglés)
•
½ taza de nueces en pedazos
PROCEDIMIENTO: 1. Hervimos la crema, cuidando de que no se queme. Luego se retira del fuego una vez hervida. 2.
Mezclamos las yemas de huevo con el azúcar y la crema de cacahuate.
3.
Agregamos poco a poco la crema hervida a nuestra mezcla, cuidando de no “cocinar” las yemas.
4.
Con una coladera eliminamos los grumos y dejamos enfriar la mezcla.
5.
Si se cuenta con una máquina para hacer helado, se siguen las instrucciones; de otra forma, se pone la mezcla en un contenedor extendido y se guarda en el congelador, moviéndose a intervalos de dos horas y agregando las nueces.

Se deja enfriar durante unas 6 horas antes de servir.. ENGLISH

WHAT TO DO: 1. Boil the cream, taking care that it does not burn. Then, remove it from the stove after boiling. 2.
Mix the egg yolks along with the sugar

Carefully add the boiled cream to the mixture, while taking care of not “cooking” the yolks.
4.
With a strainer, remove the lumps and let the mixture cool down.
5.
If you have an ice cream machine,
follow the instructions; otherwise, put the mixture in an extended container and store it in the freezer, moving at intervals of two hours and adding the nuts. 6.
Allow to cool for about 6 hours before serving.
