Цей звіт є поєднанням цих двох цінностей під час заходу “Практикум публічної звітності”. Сюди ми запрошуємо представників і представниць громадських організацій для навчання принципам та інструментам публічної звітності під час написання звіту, який ви зараз читаєте. При цьому учасники і учасниці Практикуму виступають тимчасовим наглядовим комітетом, що перевіряє відповідність фінансової та описової діяльності і робить власний висновок про місячну діяльність HUB Громадських Ініціатив. Таким чином ми розповсюджуємо свої цінності і своїм прикладом доводимо їх актуальність.
Why do we make this report? Among the values of the Civic Initiatives Hub there are transparency in our work and the lifelong learning. This report is the combinations of the two values we have in the activity called “Public reporting practice”. We invite representatives of NGOs to this event in order to learn the tools and principles of writing the public report that you are reading now. In the same time, participants of the practice session play the role of the supervisory committee that verify the accordance of financial and written reports to the activities and invoices, and then makes the conclusion on the monthly work of the Civic Activities Hub. This way we share our values with NGOs’ representatives and show its necessity. 2

Короткий опис діяльності HUB Чим ми займаємось? Ми допомагаємо громадським організаціям та людям які займаються або хочуть займатися розвитком Донеччини шляхом створення сенсовних партнерств та допомагаємо їм якісно співпрацювати з органами влади та донорами, позиціонувати себе та свої цінності та планувати стале функціонування їхніх програм. В липні команда HUB розширила мережу контактів активних громадських організацій Краматорська та Донеччини через співпрацю з новоствореними молодіжними центрами при управлінні у справах сім’ї та молоді. Середина літа запам’ятається нашим партнерам стартом роботи дебатного клубу і дійсно гарячими дискусіями. У липні було багато запитів на експертні консультації, які стосувалися реєстрації та розвитку ГО, фандрайзингу та пошуку ресурсів, розвитку соціальних підприєництв тощо. І як завжди приміщення HUB відкрите для інших організацій і ініціативних груп, цього місяця четверть від всіх активностей були зроблені організаціями-партнерами. Наступний місяць буде насиченим розробкою нових концептів заходів для громадськості міста та регіону та стратегічною підготовкою до осені 2017 року. 6
Short description of the HUB What do we do? We are helping civic organisations and people who develop or want to develop Donetsk region through the creating partnerships and we are helping them to work with government and donors qualitatively, to position themselves and their values and to plan sustainable functioning of their programs. In July, the HUB team expanded the network of contacts of active public organizations in Kramatorsk and Donetsk Oblast through cooperation with newly created youth centers department of Family and Youth at Donetsk Regional State Administration. The middle of the summer will be remembered by our partners by the start of the debate club and sometimes heated discussions in it. In July, there were many requests for expert advice related to the registration and development of NGOs, fundraising and resource search, the development of social enterprises, etc. And as usual, HUB is open to other organizations and initiative groups, this month a quarter of all activities were organized by partner organizations. Next month will be busy developing new concepts for the city’s and region's NGOs and strategic preparation by the fall of 2017. 7

Розвиток мережі молодіжних центрів Донеччини
Головна мета заходу - мережування між новоствореними молодіжними центрами в Донецькій області. Під час зустрічі 65 представників молодіжних центрів проаналізували зони розвитку своїх платформ в залежності від потреб і ресурсу. Кульмінацією заходу були воркшопи з інструментів роботи від керівників діючих молодіжних осередків в Донецькій області та їх історії успіху.

Під час заходу представники ГО та ініціативних груп мали змогу попрактикуватись у написанні заявок на грантові конкурси, а також дізнатись про: - Види нефінансової допомоги та їх розрахунок, - Нефінансові партнерства з фондами та донорами, - Пошук ресурсів серед локального середовища? І також поставити свої запитання щодо фандрейзингу неприбуткових громадських організацій.

Дебати — це ідеальний механізм для розвитку публічних виступів та аргументування. Участь у Дебатному клубі дає змогу учасникам розвинути критичне мислення, сприяє оволодінню мистецтвом красномовства, виробляє об'ємне бачення тієї чи іншої проблеми. Дебати виховують вміння працювати в колективі, повагу до опонента, толерантність. Участь у дебатах сприяє розширенню світогляду, адже дебатери порушують найактуальніші громадсько-політичні теми.

Development of the network of the youth centers in Donetsk oblast
The main goal of the event is networking between the newly created youth centers in the Donetsk region. During the meeting, 65 representatives of youth centers analyzed the development areas of their platforms, depending on their needs and resources. The culmination of the event were workshops on the work tools and success stories from the leaders of the existing youth centers in the Donetsk region.

During the event, representatives of NGOs and initiative groups were able to practice writing applications for grant competitions, as well as learn about: - Types of nonfinancial assistance and their calculation, - Non-financial partnerships with foundations and donors, - Search resources in the local environment. And also ask their questions about fundraising for non-profit NGOs.

Debates are the ideal mechanism for development of public speaking and argumentation. Participation in the Debate Club enables participants to develop critical thinking, promote the mastery of the art of eloquence, and produce a three-dimensional vision of a particular problem. Debates raise the ability to work in a team, respect for the opponent, tolerance. Participation in the debates contributes to the expansion of the worldview, because the debaters touch the most urgent socio-political themes.

Висновок тимчасового наглядового комітету HUB Громадських Ініціатив продемонстрував усвідомлену координацію та реалізацію актуальних заходів та консультацій, направлених на розвиток громадських організацій, ініціатив й населення у м. Краматорськ та регіоні, враховуючи запит аудиторії, шляхом вибудовування постійного діалогового процесу з усіма групами зацікавлених сторін, тим самим підтверджуючи відповідність діяльності поставлених цілей та місії. Комітету було надано повний доступ до витратних фінансових документів за липень місяць. Аналіз переглянутих документів виявив належне використання фінансового ресурсу та відповідність витрат для потреб реальних заходів - це підтверджує високий ступінь прозорості роботи організації.

Conclusion from the temporary supervisory committee Civic Initiatives Hub has demonstrated mindful coordination and implementation of relevant events and consultations aimed at the development of civic organizations, initiatives and population in Kramatorsk and the region, according to the target groups’ request, by setting up a permanent dialogue process with all stakeholder groups, thereby confirming the relevance of the activities set in the goals and mission. The Committee was given full access to July financial reports. The analysis of the revised documents revealed the proper use of financial resources and the matching of expenses to the needs of real events - this confirms the high degree of transparency in the organization. 29
