Сюди ми запрошуємо представників і представниць громадських організацій для навчання принципам та інструментам публічної звітності під час написання звіту, який ви зараз читаєте. При цьому учасники і учасниці Практикуму виступають тимчасовим наглядовим комітетом, що перевіряє відповідність фінансової та описової діяльності і робить власний висновок про місячну діяльність HUB Громадських Ініціатив. Таким чином ми розповсюджуємо свої цінності і своїм прикладом доводимо їх актуальність.
Why do we make this report? Among the values of the Civic Initiatives Hub there are transparency in our work and the lifelong learning. This report is the combinations of the two values we have in the activity called “Public reporting practice”. We invite representatives of NGOs to this event in order to learn the tools and principles of writing the public report that you are reading now. In the same time, participants of the practice session play the role of the supervisory committee that verify the accordance of financial and written reports to the activities and invoices, and then makes the conclusion on the monthly work of the Civic Activities Hub. This way we share our values representatives and show its necessity.

Короткий опис діяльності HUB Чим ми займаємось? Ми допомагаємо громадським організаціям та людям які займаються або хочуть займатися розвитком Донеччини шляхом створення сенсовних партнерств та допомагаємо їм якісно співпрацювати з органами влади та донорами, позиціонувати себе та свої цінності та планувати стале функціонування їхніх програм. У жовтні HUB зусередив свої зусилля на виїзних консультаціях громадським організаціям та формуванням, а також на посиленні існуючих партнерств. Так, команда Хабу провела консультації 5-ти сільським громадам, одна з яких ще й пограла в авторську гру “Життя як проект” тренерської групи “Інша Освіта”. Наприкінці місяця разом з Форум НДО України команда HUB брала участь в організації нетворкінгових подій для громадських формувань на Донеччині в рамках фестивалю “З країни в Україну”. Поміж цим, команда HUB приймала участь і в навчальних програмах, що були організовані Львівською бізнес-школою для управлінців НДО та бізнесу на Донеччині. Листопад і кінець року будуть довершенням вже встановленого у вересні та жовтні напрямку. Грудень місяць буде також присвячено аналізу існуючої стратегії HUB Громадських Ініціатив та уточненню стратегічних цілей з огляду на потреби та оцінку діяльності огранізацій-партнерів. 10
Short description of the HUB What do we do? We are helping civic organisations and people who develop or want to develop Donetsk region through the creating partnerships and we are helping them to work with government and donors qualitatively, to position themselves and their values and to plan sustainable functioning of their programs. In October HUB focused its resources on field trips to the NGOs and initiative groups that requested HUB’s consultations. The other line of focus was on the strengthening the established partnerships. The HUB team conducted consultations to 5 rural communities, one of which even played the boardgame “Life as a project” from the trainers group of Insha Osvita. At the end of the month HUB team in cooperation with Ukraine NGO Forum was involved in organisation of the networking events for NGOs in Donetsk oblast within the festival “Z Kraiiny v Ukrainu”. In addition, HUB team participated in the educational program organized by Lviv Business School for managers of NGOs and small businesses. November and the end of the year will be in line of the goals that were set up in September. December will also be dedicated to the evaluation and analysis of the HUB strategy as well as to updating the strategy goals in order to meet the needs and levels of the partner NGOs. 11

"Майстерня сільских ініціатив" - програма неформальної громадянської освіти молоді Донецької, Черкаської та Закарпатської областей Програма спрямована на створення мотивуючого середовища для молоді, яка прагне реалізуватися локально, сприяє залученню молодих людей до діяльності громадських молодіжних і дитячих організацій на селі, підтримує молодіжні ініціатив, що спрямовані на соціальний, культурний, освітній розвиток сіл. Протягом робочої зустрічі тренери майбутнього навчального року опрацьовували існуючий досвід та експериментували з інноваційними методичними та методологічними освітніми рішеннями.

HUB Громадських Ініціатив радо приймав на своєму майданчику жюрі з фінансування малого та середнього бізнесу в Донецькій та Луганській областях від економічного компоненту програми розбудови миру та відновлення ПРООН в Україні. Протягом трьох днів відбулися захисти бізнес-планів більше ніж 130 майбутніх та вже працюючих підприємців та підприємниць Донецької області, що будуть розвивати економіку нашого регіону і створювати нові робочі місця.

Key events in October A detailed description of the most important events that were organized in October by the Hub

“Rural initiatives workshop” - is a non-formal educational program for rural youth in Donetsk, Cherkasy and Zakarpattya oblasts. The program is focused on creation of a motivating environment for young people, who seek to be recognized locally, promotes the involvement of young people in the activities of youth and children's NGOs in the rural areas, supports youth initiatives aimed at social, cultural and educational development of villages. During the working meeting, trainers of the future academic year worked out the existing experience and experimented with innovative methods and methodological educational solutions.

Civic Initiatives HUB was happy to host a jury on financing small and medium-sized businesses in Donetsk and Luhansk regions within a grant program from the economic component of the program of peace building and restoration of UNDP in Ukraine. During three days, business plans were presented by more than 130 future and already working entrepreneurs from Donetsk oblast, who are the backbone of the economy of our region and creators new jobs.

How to be effective and at the same time have a balanced development, how to use this limited time next week, to have time and not to lose sight? Feedback from participants Yana Synytsia, head of the project “Kryva Luka is a tourist village” Civic Initiatives HUB reached even remote parts of Donetsk oblast. This Sunday we played “Life as a project” in Kryva Luka. I receive the feedback from the event for two days now, so I gladly share this feedback with our trainer. For me personally this is not just an innovative interactive method to master the important skills, it’s also the firm steps to the important changes, from bottom up, from a person to the country. Creation of the new possibilities to learn, facilitation of personal growth, - is, as always, Civic Initiatives HUB! The temporary supervisory committee has reviewed financial documents on expenses and registration cards for October. Everything is in order. Our conclusion is that Civic Initiatives HUB doesn’t spend time of finances vainly, doing an excellent job instead!
