Навіщо цей звіт? Серед цінностей HUB Громадських Ініціатив є прозорість у своїй діяльності і навчання протягом життя. Цей звіт є поєднанням цих двох цінностей під час заходу “Практикум публічної звітності”. Сюди ми запрошуємо представників і представниць громадських організацій для навчання принципам та інструментам публічної звітності під час написання звіту, який ви зараз читаєте. При цьому учасники і учасниці Практикуму виступають тимчасовим наглядовим комітетом, що перевіряє відповідність фінансової та описової діяльності і робить власний висновок про місячну діяльність HUB Громадських Ініціатив. Таким чином ми розповсюджуємо свої цінності і своїм прикладом доводимо їх актуальність.
Why do we make this report? Among the values of the Civic Initiatives Hub there are transparency in our work and the lifelong learning. This report is the combinations of the two values we have in the activity called “Public reporting practice”. We invite representatives of NGOs to this event in order to learn the tools and principles of writing the public report that you are reading now. In the same time, participants of the practice session play the role of the supervisory committee that verify the accordance of financial and written reports to the activities and invoices, and then makes the conclusion on the monthly work of the Civic Activities Hub. This way we share our values representatives and show its necessity.

Короткий опис діяльності HUB Чим ми займаємось? Ми допомагаємо громадським організаціям та людям які займаються або хочуть займатися розвитком Донеччини шляхом створення сенсовних партнерств та допомагаємо їм якісно співпрацювати з органами влади та донорами, позиціонувати себе та свої цінності та планувати стале функціонування їхніх програм. В серпні команда HUB продовжила підтримку розвитку мережі новостворених молодіжних центрів при управлінні у справах сім’ї та молоді. Цього місяця вже традиційно було багато запитів на експертні консультації, які стосувалися реєстрації та розвитку ГО, фандрайзингу та пошуку ресурсів, розвитку соціальних підприєництв тощо. Команда HUB відкрита для підтримки інших організацій і ініціативних груп, тож кінець літа був присвячений залученню до розробки концептів та проведення заходів організацій-партнерів. Наступний місяць буде місяцем концептуальних та логістичних трансформацій. Початок вересня відзнаменується переїздом HUB в новий офіс на вул. Ярослава Мудрого 30а. Також партнерські організації матимуть змогу взяти участь у тренінгах та консультаціях міжнародних та українських експертів у різних галузях. 6
Short description of the HUB What do we do? We are helping civic organisations and people who develop or want to develop Donetsk region through the creating partnerships and we are helping them to work with government and donors qualitatively, to position themselves and their values and to plan sustainable functioning of their programs. In August HUB team continued their work on development of the network of newly established youth centres by the State department of Youth and Family. This month HUB traditionally received a lot of requests for consultations concerning organizational devlopment of NGOs, fundraising, development of social enterprises, etc. Hub team is ready to help other NGOs and initiative groups, so the end of the Summer was dedicated to contributing to the concepts writing and event management for partners. The next month will be a concept and logistic transformation. The start of September will be a start of the new home for the HUB on 30a Yaroslava Mudroho st. Also the partner organizations will be able to take part in the trainings and consultations that were prepared by Ukrainian and foreign experst in various fields. 7

Андрій Гончаров, проектний менеджер ГО «Центр муніципального розвитку Добропілля» 25 серпня мені випала нагода взяти участь у «Громадській каві», організаторами якого виступив HUB Громадських Ініціатив. Темою зустрічі була діяльність економічного напряму Програми розбудови миру та відновлення ПРООН в Україні, і завдяки спікеру – Івану Мукомелу, координатору програм ПРООН, вдалося отримати безліч корисної інформації про діяльність ПРООН в Україні, проекти, які реалізуються зараз на Донеччині і які плануються реалізувати в майбутньому. Andriy Goncharov, project manager of NGO “Centre of municipal development of Dobropillya” On August 25th I’ve got the opportunity to take part in the event “Public Coffee”, which was organized by the Civic Initiatives Hub. The topic of the event was the economy component of the UNDP program in Ukraine, and with the speaker Ivan Mukomel we had an opportunity to know lots of the useful information about the work of UNDP in Ukraine, the projects that are implemented in Donetsk oblast and the future plans. And thanks to the relaxed atmosphere, all people had an opportunity to ask the questions freely and receive more informative answers. My gratitude to the HUB for this wonderful event! Ivan Mukomel, local coordinator of the economy component in Donetsk oblast, recovery and peacebuilding program of UNDP Great platform. They allow to tell about the programs, take feedback and have lots of positive conversations. And it also allows to know about civic initiatives, tendencies and aspirations.

Висновок тимчасового наглядового комітету Було видано на діяльність на серпень 2017 року 20000 гривень. Використано 11927 гривень. Економія фонду: 8063 гривні. Фінансова звітність відповідає доданим документам. Вибірково перевірено 4 дні за серпень (10, 16, 23, 25) : на наявність людей та заявленим видаткам. Все відповідає дійсності. В серпні проведено 34 активності. Задіяно 286 осіб. На наш погляд, це дуже завелике навантаження на двох людей. Потрібно розширяти штат. Розуміючи новизну закладу та його популярність, це тільки початок. Таке враження, що від чогось здоведеться відмовитись. Та діяльність, що була проведена в серпні місяці, повністю відповідає цілям прописаним в стратегічному плані Хабу. Родзинкою діяльності проектної команди є те, що залучена різновікова аудиторія. Простежена тенденція допомоги новоствореним та вже існуючим ГО. Також, в цьому місяці, була активна діяльність за межами фізичного простору Хабу, що сприяє більшому залученню аудиторії.

Conclusion from the temporary supervisory committee Committee was informed that for the August 2017 HUB received 20000 UAH. HUB spent 11927 UAH. Debit balance: 8063 UAH. All financial documents are in accordance to the received documents. Committee has randomly selected 4 days in August for thorough audit (10th, 16th, 23rd, 25th): in accordance to the registries and the expenses. Everything is as reported by the HUB team. The HUB has conducted 34 activities in August, with 286 participants in total. In the view of the committee, this is too much work for just two persons. HUB needs to expand its staff. Taking into consideration that the HUB was opened recently, committee thinks that this is just a beginning, so in later stages there will be cuts to the activities. The activities that were conducted in August, are completely in accordance to the goals and strategy plan of the HUB. The key point in the HUB team work is that they reach the variety of age groups to their events. The committee has notices the focus to help newly established organizations and the ones that already work here. And in August the HUB team has worked outside the physical space of the HUB that helps to reach the new audience.
