Second Participation of B&H Homeless Football Team at HWC: New players, New Host - Poznan and 6th Place again

The host of 11th HWC that took place from 10-18 August 2013 was Poznan, Poland where 45 male teams and 13 female teams were involved. The spectators enjoyed the event at beautiful natural surroundings of Lake Malta, a famous place for international contest in water sports making the event even more attractive. Our Team found itself in group E with teams of Austria, Slovenia, Belgium, Philippines and Romania. For a secure placement in the next round our boys needed to secure three victories which they had in their hands. We won against Slovenia 7:3, Belgium 8:2 and Philippines 10:4 and a tight defeat from Austria 1:2 and Romania 3:4 which passed in the next round together with B&H Team where 24 best teams from round one found their place. In the second round, the boys knew that they can lose only one match if they wanted to struggle for the first place and in which they succeeded. They were racking victories against Bulgaria 7:6 (5:5) after penalties, France 4:3, until then, undefeated Ukraine 4:2 and Hungary 6:2 and to be defeated by Brazil in an interesting match with the score 1:7. As the struggle for the first place became nearer so the public sympathies towards different teams grew.
