As I look back and reflect on IGC’s origin story, it all began because golf has the amazing ability to bring people together. I’ve met some of my best friends through golf. And the game has this great connectivity when you’re part of the community.
The opportunity we are trying to create at Intown Golf Club starts with the fact that golf takes a lot of time and investment. To play a round of golf, it’s five hours and you have to go through a lot of effort. And to join a private club is expensive. Access to that community and access to golf has a lot of barriers, unfortunately. Our goal with Intown is to create an environment that is curated from some of the best experiences we’ve had through the game of golf and make that accessible in terms of time, cost, and ease. With our flagship location in Buckhead, we have designed an incredible twelve thousand square foot space that combines a social club with top-notch indoor golf technology, built around a high quality community of like-minded individuals.
Our goal is to start here in Atlanta, curate the best experience we can, build the best community we can, and replicate that in a lot of places - providing access to people from all walks of life, across the United States, and hopefully, beyond. Overall, I believe we have the opportunity to be part of the next major shift in the game of golf which includes growing the sport through untraditional golf spaces in a very welcoming, approachable, and unique way.
This non-traditional approach to a traditional sport also informs the membership. Our wish is for the hardcore and novice, young and old, men and women, black and white, to get together around the game and create the type of community absent from most traditional private golf clubs.
In many ways, where we end up in this effort is determined by where we started, which in this particular case, with the people I chose to have lunch with at Jack’s Deli. In that same vein, I am delighted that you chose us, and that we chose you to be part of something unique and special. Be smart, look smart. Please be mindful and respectful of other members and guests and dress appropriately for the occasion (and please, no flip-flops).
DEVICES & SOCIAL MEDIA
We value your privacy. While members may discreetly use cell phones for voice, text, emails, and web browsing, please do not take any photos of people outside of your group. Members are responsible for ensuring their guests also abide by this rule.
IGC operates a strict no press policy. Members will be held accountable if they or their guests disclose or identify other members or guests who are in the club, whether in any press or social media including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and on personal blogs.
Intown Golf Club management and all staff members are required to adhere to the strictest confidentiality standards and pledge to maintain all records and personal information concerning the members and their guests in the strictest confidence.
GUEST POLICY & GOLF PRIVILEGES
Your friends are our friends. All guests, however, must be accompanied by a member at all times. We request that members be in attendance to greet their guests upon arrival. For any golf reservations that include guest play, please enter the names of each guest into the online booking system no later than 24 hours prior to play. Members are responsible for the conduct of all their guests.
Members can only book one bay at a time but can invite as many guests as the bay can accommodate, which in most cases is three guests, but for the bigger bays, as many as nine. Please note that each golf guest is charged a guest fee. Please refer to the online member portal for fees and potential changes to these policies.
ASSOCIATE MEMBER PRIVILEGES
Golf play is limited to the member. Spouse and children are considered guests and must be accompanied by the member at all times.
CORE MEMBER PRIVILEGES
Golf play is limited to the member. Spouse may avail of all club amenities unaccompanied, however, golf play is subject to a guest fee. Children are considered guests and must be accompanied by either the member or spouse at all times.
FAMILY MEMBER PRIVILEGES
Member, spouse, and children under the age of twenty-three have full golf and club privileges. Children under twelve can play golf until 8pm each day.
SOCIAL MEMBER PRIVILEGES
Golf play is subject to restrictions, and limited to the member. Spouse and children are considered guests and must be accompanied by the member at all times.
Club Amenities
DINING
With a choice of two indoor dining areas, full lunch and dinner service is available daily. Although reservations are not required, they are very much appreciated. Full lunch and dinner service is also available in all golf simulator bays.
IRBY’S PORCH
The patio provides additional dining, lounge seating, mini-bar, fire pit, and putting green. While the club is a non-smoking facility, smoking is permitted within the fire pit area. We kindly request that members and guests refrain from smoking on the putting green to avoid potentially damaging the putting surface.
GYM
Members may avail of the gym located at the Lower Level of One Buckhead Plaza. To gain entry, members must use a keycard that is available upon request at IGC reception. Please return the keycard promptly after use.
GOLF INSTRUCTION
Teaching professionals on staff and Titleist Performance Institute programs are available to both members and guests of all skill levels. Lessons can be booked through the online reservation system.
GOLF CLUB CUSTOM FITTING
True Spec Golf, the worldwide leader in custom fitting, will take residency as IGC’s official inhouse fitting partner. TSG will have all major brands and models on hand to custom fit members and guests. Please contact the front desk to schedule a fitting.

PRIVATE EVENTS & MEETINGS
To host a private event at IGC, please contact the Events Director at events@intowngolfclub.com. All private events must be hosted and sponsored by a member.
ADDITIONAL AMENITIES
For the convenience of our members, bag storage and personal lockers are available for an annual fee. Daily use lockers, which are free of charge, are also available to our members and guests. Valet parking is available for a nominal fee, with validation at the front desk.
