Increased product range for Imtec Imtec Elke library camera

Imtec are pleased to announce the addition of the versatile British made Elke 35mm microfilm library camera to their already comprehensive range of microfilm cameras and systems. The Elke library camera is designed to meet the needs of the discerning archivist. The camera includes many valuable features including computer control and automatic exposure control system thus making it very user friendly. A digital exposure meter allows the operator to see, at a glance, the background density the original will be filmed at, thus eliminating incorrect exposure problems. A ‘rise and fall’ book cradle, with a pneumatically operated top glass, allows for the various book thicknesses and, with reduction ratios of 7.4x to 30x available any book, up to A1 size, may be successfully filmed. The variable film transport and film mask ensure extra flexibility.

Imtec 5100 Zoom

The Imtec 5100 Zoom A2 plain paper microfilm reader printer is the latest addition to the growing Imtec family of reader printers. With its modular design the new 5100 Zoom is claimed to be one of the most versatile engineering microfilm printers on the market. The list of advanced features include motorised zoom lens (7 x to 24 x ), motorised focus control, 4 programmable magnification stops, roll and cut sheet feed system with modular attachments for automatic aperture card feed and a motorised 16/35mm rollfilm and fiche/jacket/aperture card holder.

New cartridge system for 35mm roll film

The new Zeutschel cartridge system Z35 allows fast, comfortable and safe handling and retrieval for 35mm roll film.

The ‘all new’ cartridge and motorised film carrier offer many features, all aimed at achieving easy, comfortable operation. Automatic self-threading means no more inconvenient manual film threading from 35mm reels. The Z35 cartridge system is available with motorised film carrier or with automatic retrieval system (up to 3 level blip) and with interface for CAR application. The Zeutschel range of equipment may be seen on the Sol Microfilm Stand (No. 11) at the Microfilm Showcase.
