AOITORI is the community magazine for Japanese people in Belgium.
The featured artist is Gustave Van de Woestyne who is among the first generation of Sint-Martens-Latem, the artists colony near Gent.
Gustave has written "Karel en ik" a memoir of his brother Karel who was one of the leading poets and art-critic of 20th century Flanders. The readers can feel the spirit of creativity and friendship generated in a tiny rural village of Sint-Martens-Latem.
