EDWARD WOLF

JEFF BECK
NATIONAL CONVENTION
YOKOHAMA,

Jeff Beck THE SIX-STRING MAGICIAN

Jeff Beck was an innovative British guitarist who revolutionized rock with his virtuosity and sonic experimentation. From his beginnings with The Yardbirds to his solo career, he explored various genres, leaving behind an unparalleled musical legacy.

If there was ever a guitarist who constantly defied the rules of rock and took his instrument to unimaginable dimensions, it was Jeff Beck. He wasn’t just a virtuoso musician but a true alchemist of sound, capable of turning a simple Fender into a machine of emotions. While other guitarists sought technical perfection or worldwide fame,

whenever they heard him play. His legacy isn’t measured in platinum records but in the influence he had on generations of guitarists who dreamed of reaching his level of mastery. Beck didn’t just play the guitar; he made it talk, scream, cry, and laugh, turning it into an extension of his own soul.

Beck preferred to lose himself in the pure art of experimentation. His career did not follow traditional stardom paths; he didn’t need an iconic singer or a legendary band to shine. His guitar spoke for itself, with a language so unique that no one could ever truly imitate him.

From his days with The Yardbirds to his adventures in jazz fusion and instrumental rock, Beck always stayed one step ahead of the rest. He was the ultimate rebel, the tireless innovator, the guy who didn’t chase radio hits but left everyone speechless

THE BOY WHO BUILT HIS OWN GUITAR

Born in Wallington, England, in 1944, Geoffrey Arnold Beck grew up fascinated by guitars—so much so that, as a teenager, he built his own. From then on, innovation became his signature. Inspired by Les Paul and Chet Atkins, Beck didn’t just learn to play; he reinvented the way to do it.

His big break came in 1965 when he joined The Yardbirds, replacing Eric Clapton. It didn’t take long for him to leave his mark with solos that sounded as if they came from another galaxy on tracks like "Shapes of Things" and "Heart Full of Soul." His time with the band was brief, but it was enough to plant the seeds of psychedelic rock and hard rock.

In 1968, Beck decided to do things his way and formed the Jeff Beck Group with two young talents: Rod Stewart on vocals and Ron Wood on bass. The result was two explosive albums: Truth (1968) and Beck-Ola (1969). If Led Zeppelin helped define hard rock, Jeff Beck gave it its initial push.

"I DON’T CARE ABOUT THE RULES; IF I DON’T BREAK THEM AT LEAST TEN TIMES IN EVERY SONG, I’M NOT DOING MY JOB"
"THAT

OLD, ODDLY SHAPED PIECE OF WOOD KEEPS STARING AT ME EVERY DAY SAYING, ‘COME ON, YOU HAVEN’T EVEN STARTED YET!’ IT’S ENDLESS"

JEFF BECK LIVE AT JAAP
EDEN HAL, AMSTERDAM. JULY 5, 1979.
"I DON’T UNDERSTAND WHY SOME PEOPLE ONLY ACCEPT A GUITAR IF IT HAS AN INSTANTLY RECOGNIZABLE SOUND. FINDING WAYS TO USE THE SAME GUITAR PEOPLE HAVE BEEN PLAYING FOR 50 YEARS TO MAKE SOUNDS NO ONE HAS HEARD BEFORE IS WHAT REALLY DRIVES ME."

However, tensions within the group were as intense as their music, and in 1969, Beck decided to shake things up and start over. After a car accident sidelined him for a while, he returned with a new lineup and an even stronger desire to break boundaries.

While many stayed within their comfort zones, Beck took a detour into jazz fusion. Blow by Blow (1975), produced by the legendary George Martin, was a statement. There were no vocals here—the guitar did all the talking. Funk, jazz, and rock merged into a sound that elevated him to the level of genius.

He followed it up with Wired (1976), teaming up with keyboardist Jan Hammer and pushing his sound even further. By then, Beck wasn’t just an influential musician—he was an artist impossible to classify. If anyone thought they knew what to expect from him, they were mistaken.

The '80s and '90s saw him continue his eternal exploration. From the electronic Who Else! (1999) to the explosive Jeff Beck’s Guitar Shop (1989), Beck never repeated himself. He played with Mick Jagger, Tina Turner, Roger Waters, and anyone who crossed his path. If someone invited him to play, he turned any song into a display of unmatched virtuosity.

One of his most epic moments came in 1992 with

Roger Waters' Amused to Death, where his guitar elevated every note to another level. Beck didn’t just play—he told stories with every bend, every harmonic, and every sustained note.

Jeff Beck never needed to be a stadium superstar. He didn’t have Clapton’s ambition, Page’s theatrics, or Hendrix’s charisma. But what he had was pure, raw talent. It’s no surprise he won eight Grammy Awards and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame twice (first with The Yardbirds in 1992 and later as a solo artist in 2009).

His legendary status was further cemented with Emotion & Commotion (2010), where he blended rock with orchestral arrangements, proving he still had tricks up his sleeve.

Jeff Beck passed away on January 10, 2023, at the age of 78. His departure left a void in the music world, but his legacy is eternal. In a universe of guitarists, Beck was an explorer who never stopped challenging the rules.

If Jeff Beck taught us anything, it’s that the electric guitar is more than just an instrument—it’s a portal to the unknown. There’s no one else like him, and there probably never will be. Because while the rest of the world played the guitar, Jeff Beck made it talk, scream, laugh, and cry. And that, my friends, is something only true geniuses can do.

TheImportance ofEmotional Detoxification forAchieving MentalPeace

Repressed emotions, such as stress and anxiety, impact both mental and physical health. Releasing them through techniques like meditation and writing promotes inner peace, clarity, and well-being, fostering a daily habit of emotional detoxification.

"THROUGHOUT OUR LIVES, WE ACCUMULATE UNPROCESSED EMOTIONS LIKE STRESS, ANXIETY, ANGER, OR SADNESS"

THE INVISIBLE WEIGHT OF REPRESSED EMOTIONS

Throughout our lives, we accumulate unprocessed emotions like stress, anxiety, anger, or sadness. When these emotions are not released, they can become an invisible burden that affects both our mental and physical health. Studies in psychology and neuroscience have shown that chronic stress not only disrupts our emotional state but also impacts our immune system and brain function. Releasing these “emotional toxins” is essential to restoring our well-being.

RECOGNIZING THE IMPACT OF STRESS AND ANXIETY

Stress and anxiety, two of the most common emotional toxins, directly affect our ability to focus, rest, and connect with others. Living in a constant state of alertness triggers the body’s “fight or flight” response, leading to elevated levels of cortisol and adrenaline. Over time, this emotional overload can manifest as chronic fatigue, insomnia, and even cardiovascular diseases. Acknowledging how we feel is the first step toward emotional healing.

THE ART OF RELEASING TO HEAL

Releasing repressed emotions doesn’t mean simply forgetting them—it means processing them consciously. Techniques such as therapeutic writing, meditation, and deep breathing allow us to explore our emotions from a safe space. Research has shown that expressing emotions, whether verbally or through art, significantly reduces anxiety levels and improves overall well-being. These tools invite us to look inward and let go of what no longer serves us.

CULTIVATING AN INNER SPACE FOR CALM

When we release negative emotions, we create an inner space where peace and clarity can flourish. The practice of mindfulness teaches us to be present without judging our thoughts. Additionally, connecting with nature and practicing gratitude are effective ways to strengthen this inner space. By reconnecting with positive emotions like compassion and joy, we restore our emotional balance.

THE COMMITMENT TO EMOTIONAL DETOXIFICATION

Emotional detoxification is not a one-time process but a habit cultivated daily. By releasing negative emotions and embracing our vulnerability, we not only achieve mental peace but also strengthen our relationships and our connection to the present moment. This commitment to our emotional well-being allows us to live with greater lightness and authenticity.

BARBRA AIXA GARCIA

Barbra Aixa García

A LIFE IN FASHION AND BUSINESS

Barbra, a model and entrepreneur, started her career at four years old, gaining international recognition. She founded CGMODELS to help new talent succeed and Hanzy to give back to the community. She continues to expand her influence worldwide as a Casting Director for Runway 7 Fashion New York

Barbra Aixa Garcia’s story is one of resilience, ambition, and a passion for empowering others. Beginning her modeling career at just four years old in Honduras, she quickly rose to prominence, winning beauty pageants and becoming the face of Pepsi as a teenager. Her journey took her from local stages to international runways, representing her country as Miss World Silhouette Honduras and a finalist in global competitions. With an innate drive and family support, Garcia transitioned from a celebrated model to a savvy entrepreneur, founding CGMODELS, a thriving modeling and talent agency in the United States. Her multifaceted career also spans television, radio hosting, and philanthropy, reflecting her boundless energy and vision.

Now based in New York, Garcia continues to break barriers in the fashion industry while nurturing the next generation of talent. Through CGMODELS and her nonprofit Hanzy, she blends creativity with compassion, helping models, designers, and artists turn dreams into reality. Her story is a testament to how determination and kindness can redefine success.

CAN YOU TELL US ABOUT YOUR MODELING CAREER AND ACHIEVEMENTS?

I’ve been modeling since I was 4 years old, won a lot of beauty pageants, and was the face of Pepsi when I was a teenager. I was Miss World Silhouette Honduras and a finalist. I won multiple crowns and beauty competitions, including Miss Playa Puerto Cortés, Ceiba, and Top Model Honduras. I gave life to Barbie for Diunsa toy stores in Honduras, moved to the U.S., and represented my country internationally, being the face of Latin Angels Models twice, the face of Barbie’s Official Calendar, and the face of multiple New York clothing lines and catalogs. I have experience working for TV networks like Telemundo New York, made a special appearance on Univision Florida, was a finalist at Miss Sport Republic—a competition across the U.S. and Latin America—and hosted a radio show, La Zona Radio New York, and much more. I decided to open my own modeling agency, CGMODELS, since I already had experience as a model and TV host. I consider myself a businesswoman and was motivated to help other models and talents with my experience in the industry to make their way easier.

HOW DID YOUR MODELING JOURNEY BEGIN, AND WHAT WERE SOME KEY MOMENTS?

I started modeling as a child with my sister. My uncle was a fashion designer in Honduras—Titio made my beautiful designs from then until I became a teenager. My mom, dad, uncle, and whole family always supported me. I was a model for Pepsi in my teens, and this was a key moment in my career—it opened a lot of doors for me in the fashion world and beauty pageant events. Another important moment was when I opened my own modeling agency in the United States, achieving success and gaining a lot of trust from people in the industry.

WHO ARE YOUR ROLE MODELS, AND HOW HAVE THEY INFLUENCED YOU?

My role models in life are my mom and dad, teaching me a lot about kindness, caring, giving, being confident, believing in myself, and following my dreams. I learned from them how to be a good mother for Justin and Ivanni. Professionally, my role models are my managers, coaches, and everyone who gave me advice since I was little.

WHAT ACHIEVEMENTS ARE MORE PROUD OF WITH RUNWAY 7?

01 02 05 06 07 08 03 04

Every season completed is an achievement for us. We are a family here in New York and work together with our Peru team. These shows are live, and the fact that we improve and do better and better successfully, back-to-back every time, makes me feel super proud

to be part of it and help models, designers, makeup artists, and hairstylists make their dreams a reality.

HOW DO YOU HANDLE THE CHALLENGES OF RUNNING A MODELING AGENCY?

I think being fair, honest, respectful, and staying calm in any situation, managing everyone with a positive attitude, and having fun enjoying what I do—because it’s my passion—helps me with my day-to-day responsibilities, usually when the unexpected happens. Like lastminute needs for models, designers getting anxious, or shows delaying—I’m able to resolve any issue in a professional manner.

WHAT’S NEXT FOR CGMODELS AND YOUR NONPROFIT WORK?

With my modeling and talent agency CGMODELS, I have so many fashion shows and special events coming up around the United States, Latin America, and Dubai. With 17 years in the industry, we’re expanding rapidly, representing designers, dancers, models, and DJs nationally and internationally. Our next event is New Jersey Fashion Fest. We continue to grow, thank God, and hopefully, we’ll keep inspiring more people and helping them reach their dreams. As the founder of Hanzy, a nonprofit organization, we do gala events and toy drives with help from close friends and family. Any fashion event done by CGMODELS donates a percentage to the nonprofit, and we keep growing in the U.S.A. and Latin America. With Runway 7, we already have a beautiful second location, making our platform number one in New York. Our intentions are to keep getting bigger and better.

HOW DO YOU SEE

THE FASHION INDUSTRY EVOLVING, AND WHAT’S YOUR ROLE IN IT?

I see the industry evolving super fast; there’s more inclusion. I’m great at adapting. I’m here to help with the designers’ vision—whether they’re open to using models of any size or want a specific size, I support them 100%. I think the key is respecting everyone’s perspective, and my mission is to help their vision come to life.

WHAT ADVICE DO YOU HAVE FOR ASPIRING CASTING DIRECTORS OR TALENT MANAGERS?

My advice is to believe in yourself—you can do it. Consistency, being positive, and writing down your ideas are key. Enjoy the journey. After learning the pros and cons of being a model, you’ll be more confident and successful as a casting director or talent manager because you’ve been in the model’s shoes. If you see it, it’s because God already has it for you. For more info, email me at barbiemodel10@gmail.com.

"OPENING CGMODELS WAS MY WAY OF HELPING OTHER MODELS SUCCEED"
"BELIEVE IN YOURSELF—CONSISTENCY AND POSITIVITY WILL CARRY YOU FAR"
"THE INDUSTRY IS EVOLVING FAST, AND I’M HERE TO ADAPT"
"I STAY CALM AND POSITIVE, NO MATTER THE CHALLENGE"

TheTempleofDebod andOtherEgyptianGifts

The Temple of Debod, a gift from Egypt to Spain for saving it from the Aswan Dam, along with other temples donated to the United States, Italy, and the Netherlands, tells a story of rescue and a millennia-old legacy.

In my previous article, I left you with this question: Did you know there’s an Egyptian temple in Spain? That temple is the Temple of Debod. It was a gift from Egypt to Spain for helping out. But Egypt didn’t just give a temple to Spain—it also gifted the Dendur Temple to the United States (now in the Metropolitan Museum of New York), Ellesiya to Italy (Egyptian Museum of Turin), and Taffa to the Netherlands (Rijksmuseum van Oudheden in Leiden). And you might wonder: Why did Egypt do that? Well, it turns out several temples were at risk of being submerged by the Aswan Dam, which was already under construction. Egypt had to ask other countries for help to relocate these temples to safer areas. Those temples weren’t just the ones given to Spain, the U.S., Italy, and the Netherlands—they also included Abu Simbel. The rescue of the temples began in 1964. Abu Simbel had a unique feature: on February 21 and October 21, the sun would enter the temple and reach the sanctuary. These dates were significant because the first marked the birth of Ramses II, and the second his coronation as pharaoh. In the sanctuary were statues of Ptah (who remained in darkness, as he was considered the god of darkness), Ramses, Amun, and Ra (the latter three illuminated by the sunlight). When the temple was relocated, this phenomenon was taken into account, and although they tried to replicate it faithfully, they couldn’t position it to align with those exact dates. Instead, it now lights up on February 20 and October 22—a fact that probably wouldn’t thrill Ramses too much. But they tried, and that’s what counts.

200–180 BCE. It was dedicated to Amun of Debod (Amani in the Kushite language) and Isis, though most researchers believe its construction was primarily the work of Adijalamani, with Ptolemy IV contributing later. It features significant additions from the Ptolemaic and Roman-Imperial periods (from the 1st century BCE to the 2nd century CE). One quirky detail is that, after its relocation, the outer left wall couldn’t be fully recovered, so limestone from Villamayor (Salamanca, Spain) was used to keep it standing. This is a point of pride for visitors from that city. Unfortunately, not many people know about these gifts, and as a result, few have visited these wonders.

ROSETTA, THE STONE THAT CHANGED EVERYTHING

In 394 CE, specifically on August 24, the last hieroglyphic inscription was carved into the walls of the beautiful temple on Philae Island, dedicated to Isis. The rise of Christianity and Emperor Theodosius I’s ban on pagan rituals across the Roman Empire relegated this ancient writing system—and with it an entire civilization—to oblivion for nearly 1,500 years. Then, in 1799, the Rosetta Stone was discovered. This event changed history.

Back to the Temple of Debod: it’s located in Madrid, near the Príncipe Pío train station. This temple is 2,200 years old; its oldest core may have been built under Pharaoh Ptolemy IV Philopator and later decorated by the Nubian king Adijalamani of Meroe around

After all that time, one person managed to decipher the script: Jean-François Champollion, who was fluent in Coptic (the final variation of the Egyptian language), a skill that proved crucial. The discovery of the Rosetta Stone in 1799 by Napoleon’s troops was key to its decipherment, as it was inscribed in hieroglyphics, Greek, and Demotic (the latest form of Egyptian mixed with Greek). Thanks to this, we could finally understand the secrets hidden in all the texts that were being uncovered.

In my next article, I’ll answer this question: Did you know what the basic diet of an Egyptian was like?

Stéphane Rolland THE ARCHITECT OF MODERN HAUTE COUTURE

Rolland is a French designer renowned for merging architecture and fashion, creating haute couture pieces with sculptural, minimalist silhouettes that enhance the femininity and elegance of the contemporary woman.

His name resonates through the halls of Paris with the same elegance as his dresses on the runway. With an unmistakable style, Rolland blends sculptural volumes with exquisite sobriety, redefining femininity with every stitch. For him, fashion is art in motion—a symphony of textures, silhouettes, and emotions that envelops women in an armor of sophistication and strength. His work does not follow trends; he creates them. The secret? A perfect fusion of architecture, purity of form, and an obsession with detail that transforms each piece into a manifesto of timeless elegance. Visionary, innovative, and deeply influenced by architecture and sculpture, his name carries the weight of a designer who has preserved the classic essence of couture while propelling it into the future.

Born in France in 1966, Stéphane Rolland discovered his passion for fashion at an early age. After studying at the prestigious École de la Chambre Syndicale de la Couture Parisienne, he launched his career at lightning speed. By the age of 20, he was already working with Jean-Louis Scherrer, becoming the creative director of the couture house—an unprecedented feat for someone his age.

DESIGNERS

His training in design and his keen eye soon established him as a creator with exceptional sensitivity. His love for architecture and visual arts was reflected in every sketch, in every meticulously calculated pattern. But Rolland was not content to be just a designer—his goal was to redefine the concept of haute couture.

A MASTER OF SILHOUETTE

When Stéphane Rolland launched his own haute couture house in 2007, the fashion world immediately recognized a new master of silhouette. His minimalist and architectural aesthetic broke conventions while maintaining classical elegance. His structured yet ethereal designs seemed to defy gravity. Crepe gowns with asymmetric volumes, sculptural sleeves, and capes that float like clouds on the runway became his signature.

Rolland works on his pieces the way a sculptor works with marble—with respect, patience, and a clear vision of the final result. The fluidity of his fabrics, which drape with an almost theatrical majesty, evokes the movement of a sculpture in the act of creation. But his greatest talent lies in his ability to play with light and shadow, giving each piece a three-dimensional quality that transforms fabric into a dynamic art form.

A Designer for Modern Goddesses

Stéphane Rolland's creations are not for just anyone. They are designed for women with strong personalities, commanding presence, and unwavering confidence. It is no coincidence that stars like Cate Blanchett, Beyoncé, and Rihanna have chosen his designs for the most prestigious red carpets in the world. Each of his pieces is a testament to empowerment, a declaration of sophistication without the need for superfluous embellishments.

His ideal muse is a woman who does not follow trends but transcends them. Rolland designs for those who see fashion as a language, as an extension of their own identity. And in this universe of ethereal forms and impossible structures, the designer finds his true purpose.

If there is one thing that defines Stéphane Rolland, it is his ability to merge minimalism with maximalism. In his collections, simplicity is never synonymous with dullness. On the contrary, his designs achieve the perfect balance between the purity of lines and the grandeur of details. His dresses may forgo embroidery, lace, or prints, but instead, they play with structure, volume, and movement to create impact.

The designer does not shy away from color, but his palette remains elegantly restrained, with pristine whites, deep blacks, and metallic golds taking center stage. The absence of excess in his collections reinforces the idea that elegance does not require embellishments but rather impeccable execution.

TIMELESS HAUTE COUTURE WITH A SUSTAINABLE VISION

In a world where fashion is facing a sustainable revolution, Stéphane Rolland has also evolved without losing his essence. His commitment to sustainability is reflected in his choice of noble materials and in a production process that prioritizes quality over quantity. Each haute couture piece is designed to endure, to become a timeless legacy that transcends seasons and fleeting trends.

Rolland has proven that haute couture can be avant-garde without losing respect for its roots. His vision moves away from mass production and embraces conscious luxury, where every garment is a work of art meant to be admired and preserved for generations.

Although his brand is relatively young compared to century-old fashion houses, Stéphane Rolland has already left an indelible mark on the industry. His collections are a celebration of form and movement, an ode to femininity in its most sublime expression. Each show is a spectacle that reminds us why haute couture remains the highest expression of fashion as art.

Rolland does not just design dresses—he designs dreams. And as long as he continues sculpting fabric with the mastery of an artist, his name will continue to echo through the golden halls of haute couture.

TheImportance of Proteinin WeightLifting

Protein is essential for weight lifters, supporting muscle repair, growth, and recovery. It enhances performance, reduces soreness, and maintains muscle mass, making it vital for strength gains and efficient training progress.

Protein is a fundamental component for anyone embarking on a weight lifting journey, serving as the essential building blocks for muscle development and recovery. When engaging in weight lifting, muscles experience micro-tears that, when repaired, lead to increased strength and size. Protein, rich in amino acids, aids in this repair process by providing the necessary resources for rebuilding muscle fibers.

Consuming protein after a weight lifting session is crucial, as it kickstarts the muscle recovery phase, ensuring that the body repairs and strengthens muscles effectively. Additionally,

protein intake supports muscle protein synthesis, a key mechanism for muscle growth, allowing weight lifters to achieve their desired physique and strength goals. Moreover, protein plays a vital role in optimizing performance and minimizing muscle fatigue. Adequate protein intake aids in reducing muscle soreness, allowing individuals to recover faster and train more frequently. It provides the energy needed for intense workouts and helps maintain a positive nitrogen balance in the body, crucial for preserving lean muscle mass. Whether sourced from lean meats, dairy, fish, or plant-based options, integrating sufficient protein into the diet is indispensable for weight lifters, ensuring they can push their limits, recover efficiently, and achieve remarkable progress in their fitness journeys.

"PROTEIN IS A FUNDAMENTAL COMPONENT FOR ANYONE EMBARKING ON A WEIGHT LIFTING JOURNEY, SERVING AS THE ESSENTIAL BUILDING BLOCKS FOR MUSCLE DEVELOPMENT AND RECOVERY"

Goals provide a sense of direction and purpose in our lives, helping us focus our efforts on what we truly want to achieve. So, I encourage you to:

Define your short-, medium-, and long-term goals, ensuring they align with your values and personal desires.

Stay motivated. If your dreams and aspirations don’t inspire you, what will?

Strive to achieve your goals and remember that when motivation fades, self-discipline must be your ally.

Prioritize tasks and manage your time effectively.

"YOUR ENVIRONMENT INFLUENCES WHO YOU ARE AND WHO YOU WILL BECOME"

Complete your daily tasks—those that will bring you closer to your goals—even when you lack motivation or enthusiasm. Self-discipline keeps you on a steady and certain path to success.

SKILL DEVELOPMENT

Learning new skills helps you expand your capabilities and break personal barriers, fostering a greater sense of confidence. Additionally, improving the skills you already have brings you closer to your goals while enriching your personal life.

Becoming more versatile and adaptable enables you to face challenges and seize new opportunities with a broad set of tools at your disposal. Explore passions that help you acquire new skills; this will give you renewed purpose and greater knowledge. Moreover, it will enhance your creativity, allowing you to tackle problems and situations from different and innovative perspectives.

EMOTIONAL WELL-BEING

Emotional well-being is the foundation for personal growth and development, allowing you to face challenges with a clear mind and an open heart.

Practice self-compassion, treating yourself with the same kindness and understanding you would offer a good friend.

Prioritize self-care, paying attention to your physical, mental, spiritual, and emotional health. Taking care of yourself is a personal responsibility.

SUPPORT NETWORK

Surround yourself with people who support you and contribute positively to your life—those you can trust for emotional support, advice, companionship, and help when needed. A strong network of friends, family, and allies is essential.

Seek healthy connections—people with whom you can grow mutually—and learn to recognize those who do not align with your principles and values. Distance yourself from them as soon as possible. As the renowned philosopher Jim Rohn once said, "You are the average of the five people you spend the most time with."

ADAPTABILITY

Accepting that life is full of changes and learning to adapt to them with an open mind is essential. In a constantly evolving world,

adaptability facilitates personal and professional growth.

Adaptability also promotes resilience, helping you overcome obstacles without losing focus. It allows you to integrate new ideas and perspectives to improve your overall wellbeing.

7. EVALUATION AND REFLECTION

Regularly evaluating our achievements and setbacks allows us to recognize patterns and learn from them, driving personal growth. Reflecting on past situations also fosters a more mindful approach to the present, improving future decision-making.

Review your goals and accomplishments, reflect on what you’ve learned, and adjust your course if necessary.

PASSION AND HAPPINESS

Make time for activities that bring you joy and passion, no matter how small they may seem. Passion fuels motivation and commitment, making it easier to overcome challenges. Additionally, helping others brings satisfaction—what you do for others, you also do for yourself.

LEARN TO LET GO

Letting go is essential for personal growth and transformation, as it frees up mental and emotional space for new experiences and opportunities. Holding onto past patterns, relationships, or ideas can stagnate us, limiting our ability to develop new skills and perspectives.

Accepting our limitations, embracing our strengths, and releasing what we cannot control allow us to move forward on our journey of self-discovery.

Remember, this is a continuous process, and the most important thing is to keep exploring and experiencing with an open and positive attitude. Embracing change is the first step toward transformation.

You have the power to become the best version of yourself!

Good luck on your journey to personal fulfillment and transformation in 2025!

HOW EMOTIONAL MANAGEMENT TRANSFORMS YOUR WELL-BEING

Managing emotions is key to a fulfilling life. This article explores how understanding and handling them enhances well-being, health, and personal and professional success, with tools like mindfulness and physical activity.

In a world where success is measured both by the career we build and the life we lead, understanding and managing our emotions is more crucial than ever. Have you ever wondered how your emotions influence every decision you make, from a high-stakes negotiation to an afternoon with friends? In this article, we’ll explore how learning to manage your emotions can be the key to full well-being, enabling you to reach your highest potential in both your personal and professional life.

EMOTIONS AND THEIR IMPACT ON YOUR LIFE

Throughout my career as a Psychologist and Coach, I’ve observed how emotions not only shape our daily experiences but also directly impact our health and wellbeing. Stress, anxiety, and sadness aren’t just mental states—they affect our bodies in ways we don’t always fully understand. For example, unmanaged stress can manifest as muscle tension, digestive issues, or even more serious conditions like hypertension. Constant anxiety can disrupt our sleep, leaving us exhausted and drained of energy. And persistent sadness can sap our motivation, holding us back from moving forward.

labeling emotions as “good” or “bad.” It’s about understanding them and handling them effectively. By recognizing them as signals inviting you to know yourself better, you can improve your response to stress, boost your overall well-being, and maintain a more active, healthier lifestyle.

TOOLS FOR EMOTIONAL MANAGEMENT

1. Mindfulness: Practicing mindfulness allows you to stay present and aware of your emotions. This gives you the power to respond to them consciously rather than reacting impulsively.

2. Regular Physical Activity: Moving your body is an effective way to release built-up stress and find emotional balance.

3. Constructive Self-Talk: The way you talk to yourself has a big impact on how you experience and manage your emotions. Instead of judging yourself, it’s more helpful to approach your emotions with compassion and curiosity.

TURN YOUR EMOTIONS INTO ALLIES FOR A BALANCED LIFE

Transforming your emotions into allies is essential for living a healthy, balanced life. Emotional management isn’t about ignoring or suppressing what you feel, nor is it about

Emotions are a fundamental part of who we are, and by learning to manage them effectively, we can transform our lives. Imagine a future where every emotion, rather than being an obstacle, becomes a tool that propels you toward your goals and helps you live more mindfully and meaningfully. If this topic resonates with you and you feel you could benefit from learning more about managing your emotions, I invite you to join my upcoming workshop, “Emotions for a Fulfilling Life.” It’s a space dedicated to exploring these tools in depth, with the goal of helping you live a more balanced and satisfying life. I’d love for you to be a part of it.
