n 1805 a naval engagement between the British Royal Navy and the combined French and Spanish Navies – a total of 33 ships that outnumbered the British fleet under Admiral Lord Nelson. To address this imbalance, Nelson sailed his fleet directly at the allied battle line's flank, hoping to break it into pieces. The plan worked due to the ingenuity and courage of Nelson and his fellow sailors.
