ICTS commenced its UK operations in London in 1987, some 38 years ago.
I was then a station manager for a US airline, Northwest Airlines, responsible for 4 daily Boeing 747 flights, two to the United States and two into Europe.
After recent terrorist events in the world at that
time the company employed the services of one company, ICTS, to provide targeted security on its flights to the United States. This meant questioning every single passenger thoroughly before they checked-in for their flight, 420 passengers departing at 1.20pm and potentially another 420 at 1.40pm. You can imagine my concern for on-time departures and missed connections in the U.S. for our customers.
My first contact, a man who was the manager for ICTS allayed all fears that I had and ensured flights were not only secure but kept on time as well. Over the years ICTS UK went from strength to strength providing indepth security for aviation and of course today for our corporate security customers.
That man was Shaike Rozanski and so it was very apt and fitting that he should officially open our new operational hub in Stockley Park, close to Heathrow
The offices are testimony to all those employees past and present who have been and are the family of ICTS who have provided superior service over the years and will continue to do so in the future. The facility will be the keystone to ensure future growth through steadfast security, innovation, customer service and our everyday aspirations to be the best in the business in everything we do.
We have the leadership, we have the teams and we now have the appropriate operational base.
My heartfelt thanks go to Alan Dutt and his teams for making this a reality through their indefatigable efforts in meeting the opening deadline. This is an extremely significant event in our history.
With all that said, this is a bumper issue revealing so many excellent achievements that make me so proud of the ICTS family - from winning awards, celebrating our milestone employees and hearing of news from our teams up and down the UK and Ireland whilst welcoming new staff to the business too!
My long-term dear friend, Shaike Rozanski will no doubt be extremely pleased to see one of the original airline customers of ICTS, American Airlines, return to Edinburgh after some years’ absence.
Enjoy the read and let’s all look to the future.
As usual, I’ll end with take care, stay safe and have a great summer!
- Andy.
ICTS officially opened its new offices at 5 The Square, Stockley Park (Uxbridge) on 29 May 2025, marking a significant milestone in the company’s continued growth and operational excellence.
The new location boasts a spacious, modern office environment with expansive views of surrounding greenery offering a refreshing and inspiring workspace for teams across the business. Designed to serve as the operational hub for both our Aviation and Corporate Divisions under the leadership of Alan Dutt (Executive Director - Operations), the office reflects ICTS’ commitment to innovation, collaboration and sustainability.
To celebrate the opening, an inauguration party was held bringing together colleagues and clients from across the business and ICTS Europe. The event was a vibrant gathering highlighting the shared vision and energy driving ICTS forward. This new chapter at Stockley Park sets the stage for even greater collaboration and operational impact across the UK and beyond.
The day also provided a wonderful opportunity to celebrate a birthday, recognise long service and take a moment to reflect on the history and achievements of ICTS and the wider ICTS Europe Group.
Representing ICTS Europe were Shaike Rozanski (Vice President Compliance), who had the honour of cutting the official office ribbon, and Shai Meirav (Executive Vice President), pictured above. Notably, both began their ICTS journeys with ICTS UK.

Shaughnessy, Business Assurance Manager
At ICTS UK & Ireland, our commitment to resilience and operational readiness remains unwavering. In line with this, we have recently completed a comprehensive review of our Business Impact Analysis (BIA) a foundational pillar of our wider Business Continuity Management System.
We are pleased to confirm that ICTSisfully aligned with the principles and guidance set out in ISO 22317:2015 – Business Impact Analysis. This international standard provides a recognised framework for conducting a structured and effective BIA, helping organisations understand their critical functions, interdependencies, and the potential consequences of disruption.
The BIA is where meaningful continuity planning truly begins. It enables us to identify our most vital services, assess how long we can afford for them to be interrupted, and determine what resources are needed to keep them running. Through this process, we gain the clarity required to prepare for, respond to, and recover from disruptive incidents whether they are operational, technological, or external in nature.
While ISO 22317 is a guidance document and not a certifiable standard, this distinction does not lessen its value. Accreditation may not be possible, but full adherence to its methodology is. Our review ensures that our BIA process not only meets but reflects the intent and best practice outlined in the standard. In doing so, we go beyond compliance, embedding resilience into the very fabric of our operations.
This alignment reinforces the trust placed in ICTS by our clients and stakeholders. It stands as a testament to our commitment to doing things the right way proactively managing risks, safeguarding continuity of service, and upholding the highest standards of professional practice.
As we continue to evolve and refine our Business Continuity capabilities, ISO 22317 will remain a key touchstone helping us maintain our readiness, uphold our responsibilities, and deliver peace of mind in an increasingly uncertain world.”
Brian O’Shaughnessy, Business Assurance Manager writes, “Imagine you’re on a ship sailing across the ocean. You’re the captain, and your job is to make sure the journey is safe. You don’t just focus on what’s directly in front of you you also look far ahead at the horizon to spot any potential dangers, like storms, icebergs, or pirate ships! To anticipate potential threats before they become real problems you need to look ahead.
That’s exactly what horizon scanning is it’s about looking ahead to spot future risks, challenges, and opportunities before they get too close and cause trouble. It’s a strategic process used in the UK manned security industry to identify emerging risks, threats, and changes before they impact operations. We use Horizon scanning for monitoring:
New Criminal Tactics – Criminals are constantly evolving their methods, from AI-driven fraud to drone-based surveillance of high-security sites.
Emerging Protest and Activist Strategies – Public order risks are shifting, with increasingly sophisticated tactics from protest groups requiring updated response plans.
Legislative and Regulatory Changes – Security firms must stay aware of licensing changes, new compliance requirements, and legal risks such as liability for negligence.
Geopolitical and Economic Shifts – Supply chain disruptions, workforce shortages, and international conflicts can have direct impacts on security operations.
Horizon scanning helps us to stay one step ahead by looking to the future and spotting potential risks, challenges, and opportunities before they impact our operations. At our company, it’s a vital part of how we protect our clients and maintain high standards in a fast-changing world.
We monitor how criminal behaviour is evolving so we can adapt our strategies before these tactics become a threat. Keeping up with changes in laws, licensing, and compliance requirements is another key part of this process, helping us avoid legal risks and maintain a strong, professional reputation. Beyond that, we keep an eye on broader global events, such as economic pressures, workforce challenges, and international conflicts, all of which can affect how we operate day to day.
The station has also implemented monthly terminalbased Employee Forums which our people are encouraged to attend to have a voice on things that matter to them and to have a stake in providing solutions to improve engagement levels and ways of working. Bruno and his team are dedicated to improving the ways of working at Gatwick and we are excited to see how they progress over coming months!
Southampton and London Heathrow Airports
Communication is also the order of the day at Heathrow and Southampton Airports. With Employee forums being established to discuss key matters and bridge any communication gaps, this is an ongoing activity.
EMPLOYEE SURVEY ACTIONS FOLLOWING THE LATEST EMPLOYEE SURVEY
A number of initiatives have been launched following the feedback received after the latest employee survey which took place at the end of last year.
Chantelle Morris, HR Business Partner Aviation UK, provides an overview of some of the activities our Aviation Division has been involved in“Aviation has been busy working through action plans to help improve the employee experience.
London Gatwick Airport:
Our Team at London Gatwick Airport are about to launch their first Quarterly Newsletter. Our colleagues voiced in the survey that two-way communication could be improved.
Bruno Freire (Station Manager) has taken this on board and compiled a newsletter to be named ‘by the people for the people’ as a mechanism to improve communications at the station and provide business updates. This newsletter will also serve to update our people on the progress of engagement survey actions.
For those who may not be comfortable speaking up in a forum setting both airports have implemented QR codes to garner feedback which also acts as a mechanism to share what was discussed for those unable to attend.
Glasgow Airport:
Our Team in Glasgow has invested heavily in selfdevelopment by employing Skills Network Scotland for developmental courses.
So far 26 participants have enrolled on courses ranging from ‘Awareness of Mental Health Problems’ through to ‘Principles of Team Leading’. This investment is to aid motivation in the workplace and can support succession planning and improvement of the talent pool.
We’ll be keen to see how this training programme progresses over the course of this year and to understand the impact it has on our people.
Aberdeen Airport:
Dumitru Chelaru (Station Manager) and his team have been focusing on what motivates our people and how best to implement additional Reward and Recognition initiatives. They recently launched an Employee of the Month which sees staff who have displayed discretionary effort receive gift vouchers. The first Employee of the Month is about to be announced so watch this space
Aberdeen will also continue to reward our people who have high tip scores (over 93% over a minimum of 30 images). With on average 10-12 vouchers being issued to colleagues in any given month we are proud to see this initiative bearing fruit.
The first HR drop-in sessions were held on 8 & 9 April 2025 with Aimee Haynes, HR Advisor in attendance. This was an opportunity for our people to meet a member from the HR community who was on hand to provide advice and guidance as needed. These drop-in sessions will be an ongoing event to give our people an additional layer of support and for our teams to better understand how we can improve engagement levels and the employee experience. We look forward to seeing any footage from future events!”

Following the quiz, the celebrations continued with a fun-filled Easter egg hunt, promoting team spirit and
In May we held our ICTS Walking Week competition
ICTS employees across the UK and Ireland laced up their walking shoes and took part in our annual Walking Week - a fun, energising initiative that promotes health, wellbeing and a bit of friendly competition.
Staff members were invited to track their steps throughout the weekwhether during work hours, on a lunchtime stroll, or while walking after hours.
The initiative not only encouraged physical activity but also fostered camaraderie and a shared sense of purpose across our organisation.
Walking Week is part of ICTS’ broader commitment to employee wellbeing and sustainability, aligning with our values of creating a great place to work and making a positive impact on the environment. Thank you to everyone who took part.
Many congratulations to Syed Zaidi from our Corporate Security Division (UK) who won our Walking Week competition by walking an outstanding 139,597 steps.
Runners up were Vimal Norotomo and Gayle Barreto both members of our team at London Heathrow Airport.
Syed, Vimal and Gayle were awarded gift vouchers and Syed was given the opportunity to make a donation to a charity of his choice: MacMillan Cancer Support
Syed has written the following words: "Wellness with Purpose: A Step Towards a Greater Cause" As part of our commitment to health, wellbeing, and social responsibility, I recently participated in the ICTS Wellness Challenge. This challenge not only encouraged physical activity but also presented a meaningful opportunity to contribute to a cause close to my heart.
Having been placed third in the previous competition, I set a personal goal to improve—and I’m proud to share that 139,597 steps over the five days. Every stride was a reminder that persistence and determination make all the difference, especially on the days that tested my motivation the most.
To mark World Environment Day (5 June 2025), we created the following snapshot of our sustainability initiatives. We continue to focus on reducing our environmental footprint, promoting renewable energy, supporting a greener environment and increasing community engagement.
As a token of appreciation, I received a £20 Amazon gift card. More importantly, in recognition of this achievement, ICTS is generously donating £250 to Macmillan Cancer Support, a charity I chose for the incredible work it does in supporting those affected by cancer.
This initiative exemplifies our values as an organization promoting wellbeing, teamwork, and social impact. I’m truly honoured to be part of a company that supports such meaningful causes, and I look forward to participating in future initiatives that combine personal challenge with charitable giving.

Managing a very large security contract with over 300 Officers, Supervisors and Managers spread across a number of sites, it was a challenge to ensure that we identified and acted upon individual Officer achievements. As a result, an internal award scheme was set up in January this year to help us showcase outstanding Officer contribution. We established the following awards:
Officer of the Month - This is an award issued monthly to an officer in each AZ who has gone above and beyond in that month or has shown consistent good standards. It is also someone who receives exceptional feedback from the client.
Officer of the Year - This is an award issued to an officer in the cluster who has shown consistent exemplary standards. It is also someone who receives amazing feedback from the client, had no alarms, low sickness, carried out the highest amount of reoccurring training and is nominated by AZM and Client.
Peer to peer award - Nominated by peers across cluster. Officers receive for acts of kindness, support or exceptional team work, demonstrate a positive attitude and uplift team morale. Goes above and beyond to help others.
Respect Champion - An officer who consistently demonstrates respect towards all: colleagues, visitors, clients and stakeholders. Promotes an inclusive and supportive environment, handles disagreements or conflict with empathy and fairness. Uses the ‘SEE IT, STOP IT and REPORT IT’ ethos instilled across the cluster.
Rising Star - This Award recognises individuals who show exceptional promise early in their careers. These employees demonstrate rapid growth, outstanding contributions, and strong potential for future leadership roles. The award highlights high-performing individuals who are making a significant impact and show great promise for continued success.
These awards are a great way of showing our appreciation to all our team members and show that their contributions to the account, to the ICTS Team and to each other really does impact us all in a positive way” said Dan Leaney, (Cluster Account Manager - Data Centres).

Hello, I'm delighted to introduce myself! My name is Szczepan Skiba, and I have been working in the aviation industry for over 10 years, holding various positions along the way.
I have been working with ICTS for five years, starting as a Security Agent in 2018. Over the years, I've had the privilege to grow within the company, and today, I hold the role of Operations Manager. ICTS has truly provided me with opportunities to develop both professionally and personally. It's more than just a company it feels like a family, and I’m genuinely grateful for the chance to have joined this organization.
My recent professional background starts with an apprenticeship in accounting where I learned how debits and credits worked, double entry and much more. I was placed in the payroll department of a recruitment agency in the healthcare sector. This was a very fast paced environment, and it laid the groundwork of the hardworking and detail orientated person I am today. My next Placement for my second AAT qualification I found myself in the Payroll dept of a corporate hospitality sector based in Barbican. This was again a fastpaced environment and was an environment where I learned a lot about the Accounts function of a business!
During my time with ICTS, I was fortunate to receive training as a Ground Security Coordinator and an International Security Coordinator for American Airlines. This experience allowed me to expand my skills and gain invaluable insights. After returning to ICTS, I transitioned into my current role, bringing with me the knowledge and expertise I gained while working with American Airlines. I am now focused on ensuring smooth operations and improving processes.
What truly stands out to me is how welcoming and supportive my colleagues were when I returned to ICTS. It felt like I had never left. The company’s culture and sense of community have been a key part of my success and growth, and I’m proud to continue my journey here.
My current title is Junior Payroll Administrator and what you'll find me doing is, setting up/ uploading new starters for Aviation on iTrent, dealing with reference letters such as Employment letters, P60 requests etc. ”
I am delighted to join the Accounts team as an intern for 6 months! I’m currently studying toward my Baches degree in Economics and Sociology at University College Dublin.
Throughout my studies, I’ve developed a strong interest in financial analysis, reporting, and compliance, and I’m eager to apply my academic knowledge in a practical setting. During my time here, I hope to build on my skills while gaining on experience in a corporate environment. As part of the Accounts team, I’ll be supporting various projects, including the creation and implementation of policies, and helping with the implementation of new systems. Looking forward to learning during my time here!”

Sports & Fitness Enthusiast: When I'm not strategizing business development, you'll find me immersed in sports and fitness, always up for a new challenge! (Yes, I'm a typical would have gone pro if I didn't hurt my knee :-))
Since joining ICTS, I’ve been genuinely impressed by the team’s professionalism and the culture of support and ambition. It’s refreshing to be part of a company where collaboration and innovation are part of everyday work.
I’m focused on expanding our reach across Ireland, I’m excited to work with clients to deliver security solutions that are not only effective but forward-thinking.
If you’re feel like reaching out, I’d love to connect and explore how we can work together."
“Hello everyone It’s a pleasure to join the ICTS team as the new Health and Safety Manager for Ireland. I started with the company on 14 April and what a quick month it has been. It really highlighted the level at which ICTS operates.
My career spans multiple industries, from medical, IT, to logistics. I spent the bulk of my adult life in the Irish Defence Forces where I served for 21 years as a medic, an instructor. I was deployed 6 times overseas stationed in Africa, the Balkans and the Middle East.
When I left the Defence Forces nearly 3 years ago, I transitioned into IT project management. Working for an Irish company I managed a large portfolio of projects, from SQL upgrades to data centre installations. I then became project manager for a global logistics operations centre where I focused on health and safety projects/IT projects.
But my passion has always been health and safety. From my days as a medic, working in operations, the health and safety of those I worked with has always been a paramount concern for me. This coupled with my health and safety qualifications meant that when an opportunity presented itself to work with ICTS as the Health and Safety Manager, I couldn’t say no.
I see my role in ICTS is to get everyone home safe at the end of their working day. I am responsible for the Health and Safety for our data centre client sites in both the North and South Dublin areas, as well as any other locations that are required.
I am excited to be part of the ICTS team. My goal is to help our company set the standard in health and safety for other security companies to follow. I look forward to bringing my vast and varied experience, as well as my passion for teaching to help us achieve this goal.”
With many years of experience in the security systems industry, Lewis brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team.
Originally Lewis trained as an electrician, and after 4 years in the industry decided to move onto security systems. Over the past 7 years he’s been working in varied environments ranging from small domestic to large commercial, and industrial sites such as Heathrow Airport.
“I love what I do and enjoy a challenge - I've always worked as an installation engineer but do enjoy a good fault find. I'm looking forward to working with ASM for many reasons. They are a very exciting company to work for, always trying to use new technology and solutions to stay ahead of competitors. I'm very excited to grow with the company and am eager to get involved with new systems."
WISHING CHARLES WILSON A VERY HAPPY RETIREMENT
Dumitru Chelaru, ICTS Station Manager at Aberdeen Airports writes, “After an incredible 47 years of dedicated service, Charles Wilson is bidding farewell to the airport. Since starting his career in 1978, Charlie has witnessed the remarkable evolution of the aviation security industry, adapting to countless changes with resilience and professionalism.
As a highly respected security officer, Charlie has been a constant source of knowledge, support, and positivity. His commitment and passion have left a lasting impact on both his colleagues and the airport community.
While we will certainly miss seeing him around, we wish Charlie a wonderful retirement filled with joy and relaxation. Thank you, Charlie, for your outstanding service and dedication. Your legacy will always be part of our story.
Congratulations and best of luck in your next chapter!”
DAVID JACKSON
When did you join ICTS?
I joined ICTS on 4th December 2023. From the outset, it’s been an incredibly dynamic and rewarding environment, and I’ve felt fortunate to be part of a team that values both operational excellence and individual growth. Every member of the senior management team personally reached out to welcome me to the ICTS family. At the time, I appreciated the gesture, but now I truly understand what they meant. ICTS isn’t just a workplace; it genuinely feels like a family.
What do you enjoy most of your job?
What I enjoy most is the ever-evolving nature of the work. No two days are the same, and that constant challenge keeps me engaged. The fast-paced environment pushes you to think on your feet and adapt quickly. But above all, it’s the teamwork that truly stands out for me. Having served for many years in the Army, I deeply value the sense of camaraderie and shared purpose that comes from working closely with a team. It’s something I missed after leaving the military, and I’ve found that again here.
What key attributes make someone successful in your role?
Success in this role hinges on a combination of qualities Strong organisational skills are essential for managing day-to-day operations effectively. Leadership and motivation go together, especially when guiding a diverse team.
Determination and resilience help navigate highpressure situations, while empathy and understanding foster trust and cohesion within our workforce. Lastly, remaining humble, never seeing yourself as too senior to assist at any level, is critical. True leadership is about service and support. (Know the way, Go the way & Show the way).
My favourite way to spend time is with my family. I cherish every moment with my children, Katie (16), William (9), and Sofia (7), and of course, my wife. Whether it’s a simple day out or just being together at home, that quality time means everything to me. What has been your greatest achievement?
This is always a difficult question, as achievements span both personal and professional spheres. Personally, I would say my greatest achievement is my family and returning to education in my 30s to complete several third-level qualifications. Professionally, it’s the ability to empower others. I take pride in mentoring and encouraging individuals to see their own potential, whether that’s supporting someone through a college course or helping a team member step out of their comfort zone and pursue a goal they didn’t think possible. I believe leadership is not about moving ahead alone, but about lifting others as you go and creating opportunities for them to grow and succeed.
If you weren’t a Security Operations specialist, what type of career would you choose?
If I weren’t in this role, I would return to training and development, a field I was deeply involved in at a strategic level during my time in the Army. Training, to me, is the cornerstone of excellence. Whether it’s developing structured programs or enabling knowledge-sharing through simple tools like expertled videos, I believe investing in people’s learning is the most powerful way to ensure both individual and organisational success.
Thank you to the following members of staff for their commitment and loyalty to the organization:
Royston Rozario (London Gatwick Airport)
It gives me great pleasure to say that I have been with ICTS (Hold Baggage Screening) for 25 years. I was an On Job Trainer for 18 years in HBS and I would like to thank all my colleagues Managers and Supervisors, for their support and co-operation over the years.
John Kennelly (Dublin Airport)
“My time with ICTS has been eventful, rewarding, frustrating, and enjoyable. I started here as a young, naive person and have grown into a confident and happy man.
I relish the hustle and bustle of airport life and the unpredictable nature of airlines and aircraft. ICTS excels in various fields, encompassing all aspects of airline, aircraft, and airport security. The relationships with US airlines and the trust they place in me and ICTS are what I enjoy most day to day. I also appreciate meeting new staff and facing new challenges.
It's been a rewarding 20 years, and I hope to see another 20 pass.”

Thank you all for being an essential part of my journey."
Many congratulations also to Karen More (Glasgow Airport) who marks 20 years’ service.
My journey started on 4th April 2005, so where do I even begin? My life has been a bit of a whirlwind, a flight path filled with the unexpected turbulence and breath taking views. Literally! It all started in Aviation. I always dreamt of the skies, and I was lucky enough to get my foot in the door early. Those early mornings. Let’s just say they weren’t all glamorous. I spent more than a few hours shivering in the catering section, surrounded by frozen croissants and miniature bottles of orange juice. But hey, everyone starts somewhere, right? From freezer frills to AAA… I know, it sounds random, but that’s me! At AAA, I was signing off flights, ensuring everything was good to go before those metal birds took to the air. It was a responsible job; one I found immensely satisfying. I even got involved in training new recruits and helping update the employee references in the office. Helping others find their footing in the industry felt incredibly rewarding. But life isn’t just about work, is it? When I’m not dealing with altitudes and aviation acronyms, you’ll find me lost in the world of art. I’m fascinated by all mediums, from classic oil paintings to modern digital art. And of course, photography! Capturing moments, telling stories through a single frame… it’s something I’m constantly striving to improve. Finally, no blog post about me would be complete without mentioning my passion for Rugby. I’m a keen supporter, through thick and thin. The roar of the crowd, the camaraderie, the sheer physicality of the game… it’s an experience unlike any other. So, that’s a little peek into my world. From the icy mornings of catering to the adrenaline of aviation and the beauty of art, it’s been a journey I wouldn’t trade for anything. I hope you’ll stick around as I continue to explore, learn, and share my experiences along the way. Stay tuned!”

“Chander Sharma joined ICTS LGW initially in June 2007 to work on the prestigious American Airlines contract. When AA moved to Heathrow in January 2008, Mr Sharma became a member of our team on Continental Airlines. With the move of most American flights from LGW to LHR that year, sadly, Mr Sharma was laid off due to the reduction of the workforce for a short time. However, we had the pleasure of welcoming Mr Sharma back in ICTS LGW operations in March 2010 as a Hold Baggage Screening operative. Since that date, Mr Sharma has supported our night team and late team in baggage screening, working predominantly in the South Terminal. Congratulations to Amrit Thapa one of our Data Centre Managers and Bhan Chand from VIRTUS Data Centres. During a recent emergency situation where a power station caught fire making national news, one of Amrit’s sites located within 300m of the event had to be evacuated. Amrit was the on-call manager at the time and despite his own home being affected by a power outage, he attended site to ensure that all of the officers (11 in total) who had been evacuated from the site were safe. Once he confirmed they were, he proceeded to direct security operations from a nearby street, ensuring his team had adequate welfare and provided a rotation to ensure some level of security was available if the site was re-opened. He continued this to 0700 in the morning, constantly updating the client and providing vital information to all until the client management attended site.
Bhan has consistently gone above and beyond to support the team, particularly during a challenging transitional period. He introduced several innovative ideas, including the rearrangement of the site pass system, and has suggested to amend the log of deliveries to site. Bhan’s friendly, approachable manner contributes to the creation of a welcoming workplace environment.
Amrit “The recent critical incident at the sub-station near Hayes resulted in widespread disruption and significant safety concerns. It required an immediate and coordinated response. Despite challenging circumstances, the safety, welfare of our officers & clients and the continuity of security operations remained the highest priorities. Managing the situation from the field, ensuring the evacuation and welfare of the team, and maintaining a level of operational control was only possible through the outstanding professionalism, resilience, and teamwork demonstrated by all involved. I am proud to have worked alongside my team whose commitment in a time of crisis was exemplary. I extend my sincere appreciation to the entire team for their dedication and support throughout the incident. It is a privilege to represent ICTS UK & Ireland and to contribute to the continued delivery of the highest standards of service.”
Bhan “I can't believe that I have been selected as the employee of the quarter. I am overwhelmed by the news and happy that my hard work and dedication have been recognised by ICTS. I am proud of myself, and this reward will continue to give me extra strength and motivation to make our workplace safe and secure.”

FOSTERING COMMUNITY SPIRIT: TEAM ICTS VISITS
As part of our continued commitment to community engagement and social responsibility, members of our ICTS team based at Stockley Park near London Heathrow Airport visited Hayes Cottage Nursing Home on 19 March 2025. The experience highlighted the importance of companionship, kindness and community.
During the afternoon, ICTS team members spent quality time with the residents, engaging in conversation and enjoying afternoon tea provided by ICTS. The visit was well received, and the residents expressed their appreciation for both the refreshments and the company.
This initiative reflects our ongoing efforts to support local communities. We would like to extend our gratitude to the staff of Hayes Cottage for their cooperation and for making the visit to the care home a smooth and rewarding experience for all.
A special thank you to the following ICTS staff members for offering their time to visit the Nursing Home: Kirsty Virdee, Priti Kamal, Rajinder Billen, Samantha Pottsneate and Paula Caldeira.
The following month, ICTS was again thrilled to support Hayes Cottage, this time by contributing a beautiful hamper filled with a variety of goodies for their Easter raffle.
“One event that took place in March was an annual prayer organised and hosted by ICTS staff at LHR. For the third year running, a group of current as well as ex-employees organised a Sikh prayer ceremony for the welfare and success of ICTS and our employees.
The prayer itself is known as “Sukhmani Sahib”, a prayer composed for its ability to bring peace, comfort, and spiritual upliftment, and to foster a deeper connection with God. It is lovely to see staff come together to give thanks to the company that has become a family”, wrote Gagan Bajaj, Project Manager - Aviation.
Many congratulations to football team, Holbrook Olympic, sponsored by ICTS who train near London Gatwick Airport, for winning their league this season!
Brian O’Shaughnessy, Business Assurance Manager writes, “We live in fast-moving times. Technology evolves overnight, the climate is changing before our eyes, and the world feels more uncertain than ever. But what if we could catch a glimpse of the future not by predicting it exactly, but by spotting the warn-

other hand, are often complex, fast moving, and hard to see coming. Whether its artificial intelligence reshaping the job market, cyberattacks threatening businesses and governments, or extreme weather events disrupting entire communities, these emerging risks can affect every part of our lives.
The book has two big aims. First, it helps readers understand what these new risks are and where they come from. It dives into issues like climate change, digital security, pandemics, and the rapid pace of technological change. These aren’t science fiction threats— they’re already here, changing the way we live and work.
Second, the book shows how we can respond. While the risks might be new, that doesn’t mean they’re unstoppable. With the right thinking, planning, and action, we can reduce their impact.
Colleagues from our London HQ participated in a friendly 5-a-side football match held at a local sports facility. The event was organised by Marketing Apprentice Kno Fridye and provided an opportunity for staff to engage in light-hearted competition, encourage interdepartmental interaction and promote physical wellbeing. Plans are already underway for future matches.
ICTS at Southampton Airport hosted a Charity horse racing night at the local Royal British Legion in Southampton. Thank you to Neil Parsons (Supervisor) for arranging the venue.
Everyone who came and supported the event thoroughly enjoyed the horse racing, Easter egg hamper raffle and meat raffle; in total we raised £832.45.
We then held another Easter egg hamper raffle within the airport and raised another £224.00.
Many congratulations to Faye Davidson, Head of HR, who participated in the 10 mile Hampton Court and Thames Path Hike to raise money for the Breast Cancer Now charity. Faye writes, “So far I have managed to raise over £2000 (thanks in part to some very generous donations from my ICTS colleagues).
