4ème / Grade 8 Students in Ain Aar Light the Lebanese University!

As part of their Special Arabic course, students inquired into the importance of renewable energies. They collaborated with the NGO “Lebanon of Tomorrow”, and decided to support the CM2 / Grade 5 students in their attempt to light the Lebanese University with solar PV lamps. They organized a bake sale and donated the proceeds to the NGO.

Sustainable and Affordable Energy Solutions

4ème - Ras Beirut

As part of the 4ème interdisciplinary project revolving around a better social condition, students inquired in physics into renewable energy solutions that are adapted to the Lebanese energy crisis and that can be affordedable to underprivileged families. Students welcomed guest speakers from the society “Me-Green”, with whom they explored the different solutions available on the market, that function based on renewable energies and that can actually be afforded by underprivileged communities. After this intervention, students produced a catalog of available and affordable energy solutions that can improve the living conditions of some poor families in Lebanon in order to improve their social conditions.
