Bulldogs win two, lose two

The Howe Bulldogs (4-3) began the week ranked 23rd in Texas by MaxPreps.com, but will not see that high of a ranking this week as they went 2-2 over the weekend. Howe beat Celeste 52-41 on Friday night on the road. The Dogs second quarter provided the separation needed as sophomore Jacob Campbell scored 11 of the 23 Howe points during the quarter. The Blue Devils only tallied 12 in the same period.
Campbell finished with a teamhigh 20 points with junior Austin Haley adding 10. Eli Wilson had a big start to the game with six of his eight points coming in the first quarter. After the win, Howe entered the S&S Tournament where they faced off with Slidell and lost a nail-biter, 38-36.
