It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas Saturday events Breakfast with Santa at Summit Gardens 8am—10:30. Howe Christmas Parade 4:30 pm start. Meet Santa and Ms. Claus at Summit Gardens 5:30 pm. Lincoln Riley did to the Oklahoma Sooners fans what Joe Biden has done to America. But at least Lincoln is gone. ***** Our Studio42 broadcast crew was contracted to do the South Oak Cliff/Lovejoy game Saturday. South Oak Cliff was just too much for the Allen B team. It appears we will be following SOC to Abilene Friday night to do their matchup with Lubbock Cooper. ***** Abby’s Restaurant is back open for lunch. The Howe Area Chamber of Commerce will host its annual Christmas Parade this Saturday. They are still taking entries which is available at howechamber.com. The theme this year is “The Christmas Train” which allows the Pride of Howe Marching Band to use their props. The parade is scheduled for Dec. 11 at 4:30 pm and will travel from the Howe Intermediate/Middle School to Duke Street to Denny Street, to Davis Street to Hughes Street to Haning Street to King Street. Please note that the route does not pass by the east side of Independent Financial.

After the parade, kids can visit with Santa and Mrs. Claus at Summit Gardens at 100 E. O’Connell Street.
The Howe Volunteer Fire Department is hosting a Breakfast with Santa that morning at Summit Gardens, 100 E. O’Connell Street. The breakfast will begin at 8 am and will have sausage, pancakes, eggs, and of course, Santa Claus. The breakfast is by donation only.
We continue the age ol’ Howe Enterprise tradition of publishing “Letters to Santa” from the youngsters at
Howe ISD. These are continued on page 2 and found throughout this publication and in the coming weeks.
Griffin named first-team all-district The future appears to be bright in Howe Lady Bulldogs volleyball as they landed sophomore Kendall Griffin on the 10-3A All-District team as well as sophomore Emery Snapp on the second team. Howe collected their first district win this season since 2019 with a win at Whitewright. Honorable mention went to Korie Bouse, Avery Snapp, and
Hadley Cheatham. Academic All-District were Bouse, Jordan Brunner, Talia Bjorn,
Jenna Clark, Griffin, Avery Snapp, Emery Snapp, and Shelbee Taylor.
