They pulled out a 19-13 win to push their record to 5-1 on the season. They will face off against the S&S Rams next Saturday at noon in Wolfe City, in the final game before the playoffs begin. The Howe 3rd/4th grade Bulldogs played the Blue Ridge Tigers on Saturday at home. This was their first opportunity for the team to play on their new home turf. The game started quick when Sean Douglas, on the second play of the game, took the ball 54 yards for a touchdown. That was followed up with a touchdown pass from Eli Espitia to Noah Espitia and soon after another touchdown pass to Elijah Willoughby. Eli Espitia then ran one in on a quarterback sneak. The line held strong all day as Colt Key, Colton Bender, Adrian Silva, Austyn Navidad, Kellen Focht, Kolbie Morris, and many more, did the dirty work to get their team into the end zone. The defense continued to domi-

nate as Anders Bjorn, Nathan Focht and Sean Douglas racked up sacks and numerous fumble recoveries on the day. Brodie Sellers, Jaxon Windon, Weldon Oswalt, Easton Ganow and Garrett Culp also contributed with tackles for a loss. The game was capped with a pick -six by linebacker Eli Espitia making the final score 33-0 Bulldogs. They face off against S&S next Saturday in Collinsville at 9AM. The 3rd/4th Bulldogs players, coaches and parents would like to thank the many Howe varsity players and families who showed up to support them, as well as Coach Bill Jehling for his help with the youth host date. The 5th/6th grade Howe Bulldogs faced off against the Blue Ridge Tigers on Saturday in Whitewright. The Bulldogs fought hard, but were unable to get things going on offense, as they lost 26-6. Deacon Bender scored their only touchdown on a quarterback roll out. The Bulldogs will regroup as they face S&S in Trenton at noon next Saturday.
