Micaiah Franklin started on Tuesday in the circle and allowed seven earned runs on 12 hits while walking only one and striking out two. She was relieved by Railyn Murphy who didn’t allow a run in her 1.1 innings of work.

Howe had only three hits which came from Franklin, Womack, and Gracie Lankford. Womack and Talia Bjorn had the two RBI for Howe. Runs were scored by Hannah Dwyer, Womack, and Kaitlyn Fuhr.

Freshman Emery Snapp led Howe with two hits on the evening. She drove in one of Howe’s two RBI as Alexia Womack accounted for the other.

Howe will play at Blue Ridge on Tuesday and at home against Bells on Friday.

Howe’s runs came in the fourth inning when Womack doubled home Ryleigh Craven. Snapp then drove home Womack.
