Bulldogs beat Lindsay, lose at Wolfe City

The Howe Bulldogs (4-7) traveled to Lindsay last Monday and came away with their fourth win of the season and their fourth in the last eight games. Howe was trailing after the first period by a narrow 13-12 margin. But the Bulldogs raced for 23 points in the second quarter where 19 of the points came from senior Caiden Harmon and junior Noah Campbell. Howe held a 35-28 lead at the half and held on the take the 5952 win. The Dogs were led by Campbell’s 25 points with Harmon’s 13. Other scorers were Luke Lopez (8), Ayden Norton (4), Austin Haley (4), Jake Fabacher (4), and Colton Thurman (1).

At one point, Howe took the lead, but a technical foul on the Dogs turned all momentum back to Wolfe City and the Bulldogs never regained composure. Howe lost the third period 16-14 and came unraveled in the fourth as the Wolves put together a 2113 final stanza for the 68-56 win. Howe now will enter the North Central Texas College Holiday Classic tournament over the break.
