In tradition, HMS holds cookout for First Responders

HMS Student Council served the food for the First Responders. Howe Middle School Principal Clay Wilson cooked burgers and hot dogs once again at what has been a tradition to hold a cookout for First Responders on Sept. 11. "This is very cool, and the kids really get into it and they enjoy talking to the First Responders," said Wilson. "I think the First Responders enjoy it was well. They get to interact with the kids." Howe ISD School Officer Michael Hill only had a hot dog as he reported he was scared to eat a Sooner Burger cooked by Wilson, an OU grad. UT fan and Assistant Principal Mike Segleski had no problem as he's used to .
