AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HOWE, TEXAS LEVYING PROPERTY TAXES FOR USE AND SUPPORT OF THE MUNICIPAL GOVERNMENT OF THE CITY OF HOWE, TEXAS FOR THE 2019/2020 FISCAL YEAR, A TAX OF $0 477088 ON EACH $100 VALUATION OF PROPERTY FOR THE PURPOSE OF MAINTENANCE AND OPERATIONS AND A TAX OF $0.092912 ON EACH $100 00 VALUATION OF PROPERTY FOR THE PURPOSE OF INTEREST AND SINKING ON BONDS AND CERTIFICATES OF OBLIGATION

ORDINANCE NO. 765

AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HOWE, TEXAS ADOPTING THE BUDGET FOR THE CITY OF HOWE, TEXAS FOR THE FISCAL YEAR BEGINNING OCTOBER 1, 2019 AND ENDING SEPTEMBER 30, 2020, PROVIDING FOR THE INTRA AND INTER DEPARTMENT AND FUND TRANSFERS; AND DECLARING AN EFFECTIVE DATE THIS BUDGET WILL RAISE MORE TOTAL PROPERTY TAXES THAN LAST YEAR’S BUDGET BY $76,226 00, AND OF THAT AMOUNT, $31,783 00 IS TAX REVENUE TO BE RAISED FROM NEW PROPERTY ADDED TO THE TAX ROLL THIS YEAR

ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF HOWE, TEXAS, ADOPTING A WATER RESOURCE AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT PLAN AN AND WATER CONSERVATION PLAN FOR THE CITY OF HOWE TO PROMOTE RESPONSIBLE USE OF WATER AND TO PROVIDE FOR PENALTIES UP TO $2,000 AND/OR THE DISCONNECTION OF WATER SERVICE FOR NONCOMPLIANCE WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THE WATER RESOURCE AND EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT PLAN AND WATER CONSERVATION PLAN; REPEALING THE PRIOR PLAN ADOPTED IN 2009 IN ORDINANCE NO 659; PROVIDING FOR REPEALING, SAVINGS AND SEVERABILITY CLAUSES; AND PROVIDING FOR AN EFFECTIVE DATE OF THIS ORDINANCE
