Overtime loss in Bells under a full moon Friday the 13th

At the annual cookout by the HMS Student Council for First Responders, Howe ISD School Officer Michael Hill only had a hot dog as he reported he was scared to eat a Sooner Burger cooked by Middle School Principal Clay Wilson, an OU grad. However, Longhorn fan and Assistant Principal Mike Segleski had no problem. Segleski reportedly had to go through workouts with the student athletes last week due to a friendly wager on the LSU/UT game. Good thing he's in shape.

The first half of Friday night's game was as exciting as an ESPN rerun of the 1985 World Cup of Billiards. But the second half was a roller-coaster ride at Disney World full of twists and turns.

The game's first seven possessions ended in punts for both Bells (1-2) and Howe (1-2) as each team was unable to muster any success offensively. However, in the second quarter, the slot-T run by Bells Head Coach Dale West finally began to do what it is designed to do by Howe looked to cut Bells lead to 13-7, but fumbled on the one yard line. ball-hawking 8:05 off of Michelle Carney/Howe Enterprise. the clock, driving 19 plays and 75 yards before finally The Bulldogs were only punching it in with a 2-yard able to run 14 plays in the score by sophomore Bo first half due to Bells Baker.
