The Howe PTO (Parent Teacher Organization) had such a great turnout a year ago for their first Daddy-Daughter Dance that they felt they'd not only do it again, but expand it. This year's event, entitled "Boots & Bling", will be opened up to not only dads, but grandpas, uncles, or any fatherfigure to be their escort.
They are also hosting a "Buddies & BBQ" event for moms and sons. That event will take place on April 13 from 6 pm to 8 pm. Last year's event was held on the grounds of Howe Elementary School.
The event will take place on April 6 at 6 pm at the Howe Middle School Cafeteria. The cost is $15 per couple and $5 for each additional child.
The Howe PTO provides teacher grants that sponsor needs in the classroom, provide scholarships to seniors, support group.
