2017 Business of the Year - Independent Bank Howe
The theme of this year's Howe High School Band Banquet was of course, "Stained Glass" as it was their theme that took them to state. Paula Catching headed up a committee that had the auditorium beautifully decorated. La Colina catered the event.

All students were recognized with a Sweepstakes Award Certificate. Bands who receive a "1" in marching, a "1" in concert and a "1" in sight reading receive a Sweepstakes Award. This year was the 33rd Sweepstakes award for HHS bands.

All 1st division UIL solo/ensemble members received their medals. Colorguard and winterguard members were also recognized and the 1st division winterguard solo/ensemble medalists, Taylor Thurman (solo) with Greg Snider and Cameron Garner (duet) received their medals. Recognitions were made of fall accomplishments as eighth-grade front ensemble members, all bandsmen and rookies of the week, and all-region, area, and all state band members were recognized.
