Dillard's six RBI help Howe beat Gainesville, 18-8 Dyson Dillard drove in six on three hits to lead the Howe Bulldogs (63) past Gainesville, 18-8, on Tuesday. Dillard drove in runs on a double in the first, a double in the third, and a stolen base in the sixth. An early lead helped give the Bulldogs the win. Howe scored on a double by Dillard, a double by Peyton Reagan, and a single by Tyler Grisham in the first inning. Howe scored seven runs in the third inning thanks to an inside-thepark home run by Tanner Hartsfield, a double by Dillard, a triple by Reagan. Griffin earned the win for Howe going two innings, allowing one run, two hits, and striking out four.

Garrett Grigg started the game for the Bulldogs and went four innings, surrendering six runs, five hits, and striking out four. Grigg, Peyton Reagan, Grisham, and Matt Griffin each managed one hit to lead The Bulldogs. Robinson went 1-for-4 at the plate as he led the team with four runs batted in. Whitesboro didn't commit a single error in the field. Brewer had 11 chances in the field, the most on the team.

Howe had 19 hits as Reagan, Dillard, Matt Griffin, Grisham, Brennan Ross, and Cade Courtney each collected multiple hits for the Bulldogs. Reagan went 4-for-4 at the plate.

Howe beat Trenton, 6-3 thank in part to Krantz' two-hit game and Regan's complete game on the mound. He allowed two earned runs and struckout eight.

The Bulldogs had trouble keeping up with Whitesboro in an 8-1 loss on Friday. Howe captured the lead in the first inning. whenTyler Grisham singled on a 0-2 count in the first inning, scoring one run. However, Whitesboro took the lead

Howe finished the week losing to Lindsay, 7-3. Ross, Dillard and Jaden Matthews each had multihit games. Hartsfield started the game, giving up three runs, however. Griffin was tagged with the loss allowing three earned.

Hartsfield, Hymel headed to state with first and second finish at regionals

Harvey is first-team all-district in basketball The Howe Bulldogs 10-3A AllDistrict Basketball teams have bene released and Howe's Ty Harvey was selected to the First Team by unanimous vote. Making the Academice AllDistrict team for Howe was Brent Masters, Elijah Campbell, Hunter Cheatham, Tyler Hawkins, and Clay Marshall.

Tanner Hartsfield took first place at the regional meet while Michael Hymel finished right behind him. Hartsfield's total were 510 in squat, 310 in bench, and 525 dead lift for a total of 1,345 pounds. Hymel finished with 1,320 pounds consisting of 490 in squat, 305 in bench, and 525 in dead lift. Howe's Chase Barnett also fared well in the 123 pound weight class with an eight place finish and a total of 745 pounds lifted.

Joseph Brennan and Jaden Matthews competed in the 165 lb class and finished eighth and ninth , respectively. Chase Harvey finished seventh in the 220 pound class with a lift total of 1,220 pounds.
