City Departmental reports The Howe Police Department answered 318 calls to service in June and made four felony arrests and 13 misdemeanor arrests. They generated 46 incident reports, responded to six motor vehicle accidents and issued 60 citations.
Howe Development Foundation is in place with bylaws passed and officers elected. He said that a plan is in place for the foundation to create a lease with the city for the purpose of using the former church building as a wedding venue.

The building owner told the Howe Enterprise that it is getting closer and will be soon, but gave no specific time frame. All indications, however, point to Howe's newest restaurant opening around the same time school starts back up. And yes, it appears to be the 2016-17 school year.
