Winning is childs play for the Lady Bulldogs

Eleven runs in the first three innings allowed the Lady Bulldogs to put the game away early. Kayla Anderson had an RBI single in the first inning, followed by an RBI triple by Payton Griffin, and an RBI single by Torrey Stubblefield during the second inning helped the Lady Bulldogs put runs on the board early. Catcher Dani Ross had a busy day at the plate, collecting two extra-base hits. She doubled in the second inning and tripled in the third inning. Madisyn Hargrove struck out nine, paving the way for a the Lady Bulldogs win. Hargrove allowed one earned run, three hits and six walks over six innings. On Friday, the Lady Bulldogs

and Pilot Point passed the lead back and forth seven times at Pilot Point, but thanks to a late passed ball, the Lady Bulldogs pulled out a 7-5 win in eight innings. The Lady Bulldogs pulled out the win thanks to a strong eighth inning. A wild pitch scored Emily Sanders to give the Lady Bulldogs the go-ahead run.

Police reports suspect claimed ownership. The driver, a 42-year-old Atoka man, was released.

Kayla Anderson did her best to jumpstart the offense for the Lady Bulldogs, reaching base four times. She scored one run and an RBI. She doubled in the fourth inning and singled in the third and sixth innings. Even though Madisyn Hargrove allowed five runs over eight innings she still recorded the victory. She struck out seven, walked three and surrendered 10 hits. The Lady Bulldogs scored one run in each of the second, third and fourth. In the second, the Lady Bulldogs scored on a bases loaded walk by Nortman, plating Torrey Stubblefield.

Mar 15 – At approximately 10:47 am, Officer David Morris arrested a 54 year-old Sherman woman for DWI in the 700 block of N. Denny after a citizen reported that the suspect struck a concrete barrier on US Highway 75. Grayson Sheriff's Deputy Moores located the suspect on Denny Street and detained her until Officer Morris arrived. Feb 2 – At approximately 11:30 pm, Officer Keith Milks arrested a 45-year-old male and 24-year-old female (both from Garland) for public intoxication on the access road of US Highway 75 at Farmington Road. Mar 5 – At approximately 7:00 pm, Officer Jordan Clark arrested a 49-year-old woman for DWI after stopping her on US Highway 75 northbound at Farmington Road for a traffic violation. Mar 6 - At approximately 12:14 am, Officer Jordan Clark arrested a 41-year-old Atoka woman for possessing less than two ounce of marijuana. The woman was a passenger in a vehicle stopped on US Highway 75 for a traffic violation. After smelling the odor of marijuana coming from within the vehicle, the officer searched the car and found the drug. The

Mar 20 – At 4:15 pm, Officer David Morris arrested a 24-year-old Sherman man for Unsafe Speed (104 mph), No Drivers License, Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, and outstanding warrants for No DL/FTA on Highway 75. Mar 28 - According to a Howe Police Department press release, Officer Keith Milks arrested two men Monday afternoon for possessing nearly a quarter of an ounce of Heroin. The release states that on March 28th at 2:39pm, Officer Keith Milks stopped a vehicle in the 500 block of S. Collins Freeway for a traffic violation. After the officer noticed extreme nervousness among the three occupants and after receiving conflicting travel plans from each of them, the officer asked for consent to search the car.
