My name is Kristi Rhoten and I am currently teaching third grade at Howe Elementary. This is my 20th year of teaching and my first year in Howe. My husband Wes, is coaching and is the assistant principal at the middle school and I have 2 daughters. Landry is a junior and Emory is in the sixth grade. We are thrilled to be a part of such a quality district with great administrators and teachers. I enjoy all sporting events and cheering on the Bulldogs!

School Board Recap Howe ISD Board ot Trustees voted to refinance $6.5 million in bond debt - an expected savings of $750,000 in interest over the term of the bonds. They also awarded a bid to Lynn Vessels Construction to expand the
parking at the high school which will add approximately 80 spaces in the main back lot and 20 spaces in the front of the building. The contracts were extended for the assistant superintendent, campus principals, and directors.
