Baptists holding community service for Easter Sunday

The First United Methodist Church is once again holding their annual Community Easter egg hunt and picnic lunch at Howe High School The event will take place on Saturday, March 26 from 11 am to 1 pm

Food will be free and will be able for all ages and they are recommending you to bring a blanket for the picnic The ages for the egg hunt are 0 through fifth grade

FUMC says that in case of rain, the event will move indoors at the First United Methodist Church

New Beginning Fellowship will have lunch and egg hunt

New Beginning Fellowship will have a traditional worship service at 10 am on Easter Sunday at their campus located at 910 S, Denny St , Howe, Texas

Following the service, they are planning a lunch followed by a small egg hunt

Pastor Wallace Rains says that they are welcoming anyone that doesn't currently have a church to attend

The church is very active in the community by contributing to Memorial Park maintenance

Tom Watt took the Howe vote for Grayson County Sheriff with a total count of 432

Joe Brown won his re-election campaign and got great support from Howe with 432 votes compared to 231 for Bobbie Peterson-Cate

As far as the Democrats of Howe, their Presidential favorite was Bernie Sanders with a total vote count of 62 over Hillary Clinton's 36
