City Council to hear zoning issues in August Hall to discuss further. David Wortham was officially recognized by Mayor Stanley in front of the council for his 40 years of service to the City of Howe.
Kathy Tolbert addresses the council with a zoning issue Tuesday night's city council meeting started with Kathy Tolbert and her husband Steve addressing the council in regards to a business, Salvage Junky, that has moved next door to the Tolberts. "We had an issue with the zoning ordinance." said Tolbert. "It's not anything personal." Mayor Jeff Stanley quickly informed Mrs. Tolbert that she would be able to state her case at the Planning and Zoning meeting as well as the City Council meeting in August. Another public complaint came from Rebecca Luna who told the council, "I don't know why you have a sign saying 'no trucks allowed' on Young and Haning." said Luna. "I've lived

After graduating from Howe High School, he learned that the city had an opening and he applied for it. He's been with the city ever since. David started at the bottom - riding the back of a trash truck and worked his way up to public works director. He has a vast knowledge of water, sewer and roads throughout the city and was also a 35-year member of the volunteer fire department., once again showing his commitment to the City of Howe."
