City Councilmen, Jeff Whitmire, who is seeking re-election as County Commissioner, Sam Haigis and Bill French were onhand as well as City Administrator Joe Shephard
The next big event for the chamber will be the downtown block party on August 1 It is called "Back to School Blues 2" and will feature live blues music artist The Bill Boyd Band








Howe Police Chief Carl Hudman repoarted the the city council on Tuesday that calls for service in June increased 89% when compared to June of 2014 The departent did not have any on-thejob injuries or complaints against officers

The Howe Police Department had one 'Use of Force' incident in June in which a taser was used to subdue a suspect who forcefully resisted arrest The use of force was in compliance with department policy


The department did not have any civil seizures in June. However, they received notice that the civil seizure on a 2000 Honda Civic is complete and have since listed it with Public Surplus for auction.
