ance is at the heart of Emma Bartolini’s family.

“Dance is what brought us (husband David and her) together and is incredibly important to all of us individually as well as a family,” Bartolini, a Marlborough resident said, whose daughter Belle also dances at HCA. So when director of dance Jessica Wilson began offering classes for adults, Emma dusted off her dance shoes after a 20-year hiatus from the studio setting. “I walked in, a bundle of nerves, years of regret and anxious emotion circling around me, and the very first moment I walked in, I knew I had discovered my new dance home,” said Bartolini. “Jessica’s personality is warm and welcoming, with no pretense, and an immediate sense of belonging.” “As a Mom who is a dancer, and visual artist—to be able to show my daughter that I picked something back up after 20 years away from it… and to rediscover a life’s passion, is a lesson I hope to instill in her,” she said.
