Inauguran Consulado de Guatemala en Omaha, Nebraska Como parte de los objetivos del Gobierno del presidente Alejandro Giammattei de ampliar los servicios consulares en el exterior, el Vicecanciller Geovani Castillo, en representación del Canciller Mario Búcaro inauguró el Consulado General de Guatemala en Omaha, Nebraska este pasado sábado 28 de octubre. La sede comenzará brindando servicios de documentación, inscripciones, orientación y protección consular, entre otros, y atenderá también, por cita, a guatemaltecos que se encuentra en los estados de Iowa, Dakota del Norte, Dakota del Sur y Minnesota. La sedé de Omaha estara dirigida por el Cónsul Billy Miranda Muñoz, en donde el enfoque será el servicio
integro, humano, y compasivo. Estas oficinas tendrán capacidad para atender a connacionales guatemaltecos que hablan el idioma Q’anjob’al, entre otros idiomas maya. As part of the objectives of the Government of President Alejandro Giammattei to expand consular services abroad, Vice Chancellor Geovani Castillo, representing Foreign Minister Mario Búcaro, inaugurated the Consulate General of Guatemala in Omaha, Nebraska this past Saturday, October 28. The headquarters will begin providing documentation, registration, orientation, and consular protection services, among others, and will also serve, by appointment, Guatemalans located in the states of Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota and Minnesota. The Omaha headquarters will be directed by Consul Billy Miranda Muñoz, where the focus will be compre-
hensive, humane, and compassionate service. These offices will have the capacity to serve fellow Guatemalans who speak the Q’anjob’al language, among other Mayan languages. The Consulate of Guatemala in Omaha, Nebraska, is located at 1010 N 96th St., Omaha, NE 68114.
