How it all happened
It was a regular day of the week at Perdue Farms, and this young man hand had gotten caught in a machine. The problem was that the machine had a “lockout tagout” tag on it, and the man didn’t know what it meant. “HELP! HELP! HELP!” the man yelled! Everyone ran over there trying to help and see what was going on! Then he yelled out again, “HELP! HELP! SOMEONE HELPPPPP!” So people started running everywhere, picking up everything, trying to help, but nothing was going to work because the machine was slowly cutting his hand off. The man begged, “PLEASE! Can y’all call someone to help me? I need help”! Ok, So , it’s 3:00 in the morning, and medical is not here until 7:00 in the morning. His arm was cut to the bone and blood was shooting everywhere. His coworkers were attempting to help, but it was no success. So they called the rescue squad and they came in a rush. In no time the unit had to cut the machine and pulled the man from under it. He had to be airlifted. He arrived at the ER around 3:45am and had to go through emergency surgery. Being that his arm was basically completely hanging, it took him 1.½hrs to go through surgery. Doctors had a hard time removing his arm from bone to bone. The meds that they gave the man were the wrong meds. So basically he was up the whole time, and he felt every bit of the pain.
