Two-time Oscar nominee Rooney Mara has been cast as Audrey Hepburn in an upcoming biopic of the iconic actress. As well as playing the My Fair Lady and Breakfast at Tiffany’s star, she is also a producer on the as yet untitled film for Apple. With acclaimed performances in The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo, Carol and Nightmare Alley, she certainly has the talent and experience for the role. But not everyone is happy with the casting choice. Many fans of Emily in Paris actress Lily Collins, an Audrey lookalike, took to social media expressing their feelings that their favorite was a better fit for the part. Not just a film superstar, Hepburn was also a fashion icon and humanitarian. Plot details are still under warps for the new movie, which will be directed by Call Me By Your Name filmmaker Luca Guadagnino. Sandro Monetti 8
