Do not smoke when working on the fuel system or when refuelling. Before refuelling, switch off the engine and remove the ignition key. Do not refuel in closed rooms. Environment! Use a suitable container to collect the fuel as it drains and dispose of it in an environmentally friendly manner.
Notice! Do not run the fuel tank completely dry. Otherwise, air is drawn into the fuel system. This requires bleeding the fuel system – see Bleeding the fuel system on page 3-11.
Notice! Fill up the tank with the correct fuel type at the end of each working day to prevent the formation of condensation water in the fuel tank (condensation water damages the injection pump). Do not fill the tank completely but leave some space for the fuel to expand.
