Emptying the fuel tank

Fuel filter with water separator

The fuel tank is fully emptied by removing the fuel with suction lance A.

Check the fuel filter as follows: unscrew thread A. ➥ The water drains. ➥ Wait until fuel starts flowing (visual check). ☞Screw thread A back on again.

Environment!

Thread A is fitted with a hose. Collect the water as it drains with a suitable container and dispose of it in an environmentally friendly manner.
