Safety
PARKING THE MACHINE Park the machine in a cleared area at least 15 m (50 ft) away from other equipment or vehicles. This space acts a firebreak in the event of fire. Lower the attachment firmly onto the ground before exiting the cab. If exiting the cab for an extended period, turn OFF the engine.
Use the battery disconnect switch to turn OFF the engine in emergencies only. If the battery disconnect switch is used to turn OFF the engine, the engine electronic control unit logs a fault code to record improper shutting/powering down. Refer to AFTERTREATMENT SYSTEM in SECTION 3.
TRANSPORTING THE MACHINE Before transporting the machine, secure it properly to the transporting vehicle. Obey all local traffic and road regulations and laws.
