Component/Application Type

Refer to the Engine Operator’s Manual for specific engine oil recommendations. Service Classification: APICK-4 preferred, API-CJ-4 SM acceptable. Conventional oils - select the oil viscosity based on the ambient temperature where the engine is being operated. See SAE viscosity chart.

Full Synthetic Oil 0W-40. Do not mix oil types.

Engine Oil (with filter)

Hydraulic Oil TankPetro Canada HVI60, Mobil DTE 15M or equivalent, which contain anti-rust, anti-foam and anti-oxidation additives, and conforms to ISO VG46.

HVLPD 46 (HYD0530)

Biodegradable oil: AVILUB Syntofluid 46; PANOLIN HLP Synth 46

Grease Fittings, Lift Arm Lithium-saponified, brand-name multi-purpose grease MPG-A grease

Models:

ULSD a ultra-low sulfur only, below 15 PPM.

D975 with biodiesel content limited to 5% of DIN type (no additives allowed!)

Non-DPF Models:

D975-94 (no additives allowed!) DIN EN14214 Biodiesel (no additives allowed!)

LSD or ULSDa low sulfur or ultra-low sulfur, below 500 PPM. Up to 5% (B5) mixture of BioDiesel allowed

Long life coolant ASTM D4985, D6210 (United States) SAE J814C, J1941, J1034 or J2036 (international) (See “Coolant Compound Mixtures” on page118) a.Ultra-Low Sulfur Diesel (ULSD) fuel lubricity must have a maximum scar diameter of 0.45 mm, as measured by ASTM D6079 or ISO 12156-1, or a minimum of 3100 grams as measured by ASTM D6078. Contact your fuel supplier for details. Specification 1-D S15 or 2-D S15, ASTM D975.
