CHAPTER 3 CHECKLISTS PRE–DELIVERY After the Mixer Feeder has been completely set–up, the following inspections MUST be made before delivering it to the Customer. Check off each item after prescribed action is taken.

Planetary Gearboxes and Chaincase are filled to o The proper oil level; see Lubrication chapter of this manual. Grease Fittings have been properly lubricated, Chains o All oiled, and as applicable, the Self–contained Hydraulic Oil Reservoir is filled to the proper level; see Lubrication chapter of this manual. a Trailer unit, the Wheels are properly mounted and seo On curely attached and Tires are properly mounted and inflated to the appropriate pressure listed in the Service chapter. Guards, Shields and Decals are in place and securely o All attached. and Serial numbers for this unit are recorded in o Model space provided on this page and page 2.
Hook the Trailer unit up to the appropriate RPM tractor, start the truck of a Truck unit or, turn on electric power to the Stationary unit and test–run it while checking that proper operation is exhibited by all components. Check that:
o On a Trailer unit, the Rotating PTO Shields turn freely. Drives, Chains and Mechanisms are operating o All smoothly and properly adjusted. Flighting to Trough clearance is correct; see Ado Auger justments chapter of this manual. I acknowledge that pre–delivery service was performed on this unit as outlined.

The following Checklist is an important reminder of valuable information that MUST be passed on to the Customer at the time the unit is delivered. Check off each item as you explain it to the Customer. the Customer his Operator’s Manual. Instruct cuso Give tomer and all operators to be sure to read and completely understand its contents BEFORE operating the unit. Customer on how to use the Index of this manual o Direct as a quick page number locating guide. and review with Customer the SAFETY informao Explain tion in this manual. and review with Customer the Controls & Safety o Explain Equipment chapter of this manual. that regular lubrication is required for continued o Explain proper operation and long life. Review with him the Lubrication chapter of this manual. and review with customer the Service chapter of o Explain this manual. and review with customer the Preparing for Field o Explain Operation chapter of this manual. and review with Customer the separate Weigh o Explain Scale information in the separate manual provided. fill out Mixer Feeder Owner’s Registrations, o Completely including Customer’s signature, and return them to the company.
