• Lower maize header to the ground. • Switch off the engine and remove the ignition key. • Press in sliding pin and universal drive shaft (24) onto the PTO shaft of the speed-change and reversing gear. Ensure that the sliding pin clicks securely into place.
• Re-install cover (25). (Fig. 57, 58)

Adjusting dog clutch During first time attachment, ensure that the dog clutch (27) is aligned. DANGER! Carry out work under and on the raised maize header only after having propped it safely. – see Safety prop, page 5.7.
