The locking rods must be set so that the catch hooks (11) surround the coupling shaft (10) from the feeder housing of the forager with pre-tension.

The locking rods (14) must be readjusted as required. Proceed as follows:

Raise front attachment to the highest position. Prop/support front attachment securely. Use suitable prop elements. Extend the prop stands until they touch the ground and secure them – see Prop stands on page 7.25.
• Loosen split pin (16) and washer (15) on lever (17).
• Loosen the lock nut (13). • Rotate locking rod (14) on fork head (12) in or out. • Re-install split pin (16) and washer (15) on lever (17).
• Re-tighten the lock nut (13). (Fig. 54)

Connect the hydraulic hoses (19) for the tilt cylinder and, if applicable, for accessory equipment to the female hydraulic couplings (18) on the forager. 19
