Checking the distance Left or right mower unit If required, check the distance between mower unit and rear tyres:

• Lower mower unit to ground. • Measure the clearance (X) between top edge of

threaded bolt (8) and top edge of rubber spring (11).

• Slacken off nuts (9) and (10). • Carefully drive forward (in mowing direction) with the tractor until the collision protection is at its stop. 148
• Check if the clearance between tyres and conditioner housing is at least 5 cm.
• Tighten nut (10) until the clearance (X) is restored again.
• Lock with nut (9). (Fig. 148)
