Procedure to set Amplifier Card (EV1M2-12/24)
1. Start the pick breaker 2. Go to the valve bank and lift the valve bank handle retainer bar out of the way, so you can visibly see the movement of the conveyor handles (when the conveyor is running). 3. Place the machine in Conveyor, Forward and then Manual mode.
The conveyor will start. 4. On the display, go to the “Present Screen” (see fig. A1)
5. Select “Low Speed” and change the percentage to “20%”. (Note: this percentage can be anything you want, as long as it is large enough to get the conveyor to start moving). The conveyor will be running full speed because Imin and Imax are at the same reference point (the valve handles will be visibly all the way forward). Next the Imin must be set. 6. Go to the amplifier cards on the back of the door, there will be two.
Find the Imin set screw (shown on Fig. A2 as item #9)

7. Turn Imin set screw counter clockwise. Visually verify (that the handles are moving) for which solenoid you are controlling, and get the handle to where it is 20% displaced from its rest position. This will have to be done to both amp cards. 8. Once you have both valve handles in the same position, you can go to the display and select “High Speed” on the “Preset
Screen” (verify high percentage is set to 100%), your conveyor should be running at full speed (the valve handles should be fully displaced). If the handles are not fully displaced, you will need to adjust the Imax. Go to the amplifier cards, turn the Imax set screw (shown on Fig. A2 as item #10) clockwise, until you see the valve handles fully displaced (all the way forward). 9. Go back to the “Preset Screen” and select “Low Speed” and verify the valve handles went to your set low speed (handles displaced 20%) and reselect “High Speed” to verify high speed was set (handles fully displaced). 10. Go to the “Preset Screen” and select “Medium Speed” and enter your medium speed percentage. You do not need to adjust the amplifier card for the medium set point. 11. Once you have set the Imin and Imax set points you can change the percentages on the “Preset Screen” to what you want between your two set point percentages.
