OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS RH 200 Operation Automatic fire-extinguishing system (optional)
Inspection Have the extinguishing system inspected regularly by an expert. This is required by authorities and insurance companies and is in the interest of your own safety.
The automatic fire-extinguishing system (Fig. 2-23:) prevents fire from spreading. It is, however, assumed that the machine is thoroughly cleaned of combustible and easily flammable substances.
Have the fire-extinguishing system checked at the prescribed intervals by authorized testing agencies.
Manual activation " Pull out ring (1, Fig. 2-24:) on activating unit for corresponding extinguishing circuit. " Strike knob (2) hard.

The excavator operator and the maintenance personnel must familiarize themselves with the automatic fire-extinguishing system. Such instruction should be given by a qualified instructor.

The fire-extinguishing system is activated automatically in an emergency. Refill extinguishers immediately after use ready for further deployment. In an emergency the fire-extinguishing system is actuated automatically. Nevertheless particular extinguishing circuit e. g. engine 1 or 2 (LH or RH) can be actuated manually.
