Inspection and servicing

Checking the oil level in the engine oil reservoir / topping up (optional)

The excavator is equipped with an interval prolonging (optional)

If required the oil pan of the engine is automatically filled up with engine oil from the engine oil reservoir

That means the engine oil pan of the engine is sufficient filled up with engine oil as long as engine oil is in the engine oil reservoir Check oil level in the engine oil reservoir regulary and fill up if neccessary.

" Park the machine on a horizontal surface and secure against inadvertent movements.

" Shut off engines.

" Unlock the oil dipstick (2, Fig. 3-15:) and withdraw.

" Wipe oil off the dipstick with a clean, lintfree cleaning rag and re-insert.

" Draw out dipstick a second time. The oil level should lie at the mark. If the oil level is below, the engine oil is filled in from the service station (Fig. 3-16:) through

- express coupling (6) for the lefthand engine oil reservoir

- express coupling (7) for the righthand engi ne oil reservoir
