Controls levers

NOTE: The following descriptions concerning use of the controls are to be intended with the swinging axle in front position relative to the travel direction. The words right, left, front, back, clockwise, and anticlockwise relate to the Operator’s position when properly sitting in the driver’s seat.

NOTE: The machine is fitted with a plate showing all functions of control levers and pedals.

CAUTION

Prior to any digging operation, get acquainted with the location and function of each control lever as detailed below.

It is forbidden to expose limbs or any part of the body outside the cab windows during work: Danger of severe injuries and even death.

If the machine is fitted with the following options: articulated boom, offset boom, stabilizers/blade, clamshell bucket or breaker, see descriptions of the associated controls in the paragraph “INSTRUMENTS AND CONTROLS” in this Chapter.

1. Dipper extending (forward) 2. Dipper retracting(reverse) 3. Swing right 4. Swing left 5. Boom lower 6. Boom raise 7. Bucket closing 8. Bucket opening

When a control lever is released, it returns automatically to the neutral position and the associated work function stops.
