The safety lever (1) is used to disable swing controls and the attachment movements. It has two positions: • When in the LOCK position (2) with the machine stationary and the engine running or stopped, it prevents the possibility of machine unexpected movements if travel pedal and control levers are accidentally moved. • When in the UNLOCK position, the safety lever enables operation of all controls. Therefore, to control and operate the machine, the lever should be moved to this position.

WARNING

Before starting the engine, ensure that the safety lever is in the LOCK position (vertical).

When the machine is parked or upon leaving it for whatever reason, always ensure that the safety lever in the LOCK position (vertical).

If attachment movement is detected when the safety lever is released with the control levers still in the neutral position, proceed as follows: • Pull the safety lever to stroke end in the lock position (vertical) • Stop the engine • Contact the nearest Dealer.

Before start-up

Before starting the engine, ensure that: • the safety lever (1) is at end of travel in the LOCK position. • switch (1) is in position , with relative warning light (2) on.

After start-up

After starting the engine, ensure that the travel controls and control levers are in the neutral position. Lower the safety lever (1) to the UNLOCK position to enable operation of cab controls. Unlock position
