Display of Stored Information:
The AES panel automatically stores information on the amount of time that the skid steer was operated in excess of the operational limits described previously. In addition, the panel stores the number of times the machine was shutdown by the AES system. The information is available for review by following the procedure described below.
A. Entering the Review Mode:
With the engine stopped and the ignition switch in the OFF position, hold down the Select Button (2). and the Mode Button (3) together. With both buttons depressed, turn the key to the RUN position (the first position when the key switch is turned clockwise). Continue to depress the Select and the Mode Buttons until the Multi-function display (1) displays the following: SHT XX where XX is a number from 1 to 99.
B. Total Shutdowns Since the Last Reset:
Upon entering the Review Mode, all three of the parameter icon lamps will be illuminated. The information displayed first in the Multi-function display (1) is the total number of machine shutdowns which took place since the last time the panel was reset. This information is displayed in the following format: SHT XX where XX is the number of shutdowns which occurred.
C. Total Time Parameters Were Out of Limits:
To display the combined amount of time all parameters were out of limits, depress the Select Button (2) one time. The information is displayed in the following format: SHT XX:XX where XX:XX is the number of hours and minutes that the skid steer was operated out of limits.
D. Display of Individual Parameters:
To display the number of time an individual parameter has caused the machine to shutdown and the amount of time that parameter was out of limits, depress the Select Button (2) to advance the display. The indicator lamp for the desired parameter will illuminate, and the number of shutdowns due to that parameter will be displayed in the following format: ZZZ XX, where ZZZ is either OIL, WTR, or HYD and XX is the number of shutdowns. To display the amount of time the selected parameter was out of limits, depress the Select Button (2) again. The time will be displayed as follows: ZZZ XX:XX where XX:XX is the time in hours and minutes. Pressing the Select Button (2) a third time will advance the display to the next parameter.
E. Display of Engine Run Hours over Service Limit Interval:
To display the number of hours that the machine has operated past the service interval reminder setting, depress the Select Button (2) until the Service Interval Hourmeter Lamp (8) is illuminated. The display in the multi-function display window (1) will show the following: The Hourglass symbol and XXX, where XXX is the number of hours.
F. Resetting the Parameter Stored Information:
To clear the stored information, with the lamp over the parameter icon to be cleared illuminated and the following displayed in the multi-function display: ZZZ XX:XX (where ZZZ is OIL, WTR, or HYD) depress the Mode Button (3). The lamp over the selected icon will begin to flash and the multi-function display will cycle between the phrase “RESET” and “NO” “YES”. At this point, depressing the Mode Button (3) will clear the information, while depressing the Select Button (2) will cancel the reset operation.
G. Resetting the Service Interval Hourmeter:
To reset the Service Interval Hourmeter, depress the Mode Button (3) until the lamp over the Service Interval icon (8) is illuminated and the display shows: The Hourglass symbol and XXX and then follow the procedure outlined in item F above.
