REAR AXLE - DISASSEMBLY, SERVICING AND ASSEMBLY

8. Unfold the caulking section (A) of the nut and unscrew the nut. Then, tap the rear axle (2) to remove it. Finally, remove the 56 gear (3) from the rear axle case.

• Sub-assemble the parts up to the 11 gear shaft into the rear axle case as shown in the figure. Then, measure the turning torque.
• Tighten the caulking nut so that the turning torque of the rear axle becomes 0.15 - 0.27 kgf.m (1.472.65 N•m, 1.08 - 1.94 lbf-ft).
• When the turning torque of the rear axle is within the specified range, caulk the nut firmly.
